Erroneous charges to my credit card

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I am not sure if the two are connected, but after receiving an email from Small Business Community that my company was being rewarded for Best of Service and we ordered the associated plaque for $97, every month since they have charged my credit card for an additional $97 under the business name of Think Automate Grow. I am in the middle of disputing the charges and hoping for a full refund.

I never ordered any month coaching service or anything else from Think Automate Grow or the Small Business Community. I called the phone number only to get a recording suggesting emailing someone named Melissa. I have sent an email to Melissa requesting a full refund and to have them remove my credit card from any other future charges. Also, I have contacted my credit card and placed a fraudulent charge claim out on Think Automate Grow.

I am not sure if by ordering a plaque triggers them to secretly place you on some other service that includes a monthly reoccurring charge. I appreciate the acknowledgement for the reward but not the additional charges.

Sounds like a scam to me! Watch out.

This guy is a scammer, definitely. "Best of Business"? It doesn't even make sense as an English phrase.

The man of empty promises

If you want a response just get angry and send a nasty email and he will respond with an empty promise. Excuses and delays is about all we received for the $12,981 we spent with this guy.

After, further research this is not isolated to us. We found in just a few minutes more than 10 people having same issues we have so its just his way of doing business. My for not googling him first.

The old saying you get what you pay for is not true in this case at all. We got nothing that we paid for and what little we did get we had to make threats to get him to do just that and then just did enough to shut us up for a day.

Arrogant, terrible customer service, won't listen, rip off... stay far away.

They won't give you more than 1 hour per week, which they bill you for in full but only give you 45 min. Wouldn't listen to my needs and do what I ask, they want to give you advise for stuff you didn't ask for, they are argumentative and you can't call them... try the phone number on their website, it goes no where!! Rich Thurman is so full of himself, his company is rip off... my advise, find someone else.

Rich Thurman Ripped Off InfusionSoft Customer

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

There is no doubt that Rich Thurman is skilled and talented. That is why I hired him on a $4,000/month retainer. Here is a sample of the results I experienced in six months of his services;

• Mr. Thurman agreed to perform SEO. The result? Never done.

• Mr. Thurman agreed to perform PPC. The result? Never done.

• Mr. Thurman agreed to increase traffic to our site. The result? Almost no increase in traffic.

• Mr. Thurman agreed to increase sales. The result? The overall increase in sales during the six months was $15,600. We spent over $26,000 for his services, a net loss of $10,400 and a waste of six months of our time.

• Mr. Thurman agreed to do attend scheduled weekly phone meetings. The result? He seldom attended.

• Mr. Thurman agreed to establish CSV file communications with our shipping company to upload orders and to receive CSV files back from them to upload into InfusionSoft so we could send out emails to customers informing them of their tracking and shipping information. He was paid for this service and after several glitches, it finally worked. The very day we notified Mr. Thurman of our intention to terminate his services; he TURNED OFF ALL OF OUR SHIPPING FUNCTIONS.

The result? All of our orders have to be manually inputted to the shipping company and customers are no longer sent emails with their tracking information. Mr. Thurman had placed our paid-for shipping functionality on his own server without our permission or informing us and he promptly turned off all shipping functions. This has cost us additional money for order entry and Customer Service functions while causing a great deal of customer dissatisfaction.

• Now, Mr. Thurman has offered to turn this shipping functionality back on for $2,000 and charge a fee of $997/month for a service he has already been paid for.

Mr Thurman decided he wanted to boost his star ranking, so he deleted my review and had his wife post a review for her husband. He is now back to 5 stars and people who depend on reviews to make Consultant decisions are being duped.

If this is the kind of results you desire, then by all means, hire Mr. Thurman

Hello - Think we know what you are going thru with "Marketing Process Automation" in searching for quality Infusionsoft certified partners.

be eepcially careful of one person consulting firms like Genie Automation, and experience with recreation center of Nipomo, that may not be relevant to your application. the workload scheduling for 1 person outfits can be a challenge..and just when you need then , they may be busy with a new client.!!!

some consultants are just better off with non profits as volunteers vs mission critical time sensitive outcomes. e.g. Genie Automation.

Look for and quiz the consultants on relevant stage of growth and industry experience. the testimonials for Genie Automation with Nipomo clients read more like an administrative assistants, office help for small"mom and pop" outfits.

versus experience and metrics for infustionsoft certified partners. Look for progressive larger levels of responsibility and project assignments

Difficult to see how a CFO will go from that position to a non-profit Chamber of Commerce Staff position then have it terminated. Non-profits have different metrics to live up to. That is going in reverse from a complexity and accountability career track

Try GetUWired.

Explain the stage of your business growth and the metrics to measure.

The one hour initial consult is an opportunity for you to interview them so take control of the conversation. Some suggestions if I may? Have them show metrics, preferably in your industry, actually call their client references not just read what is on the web site. They also have active "chat" help and look for variety and diversity in the associates they have.

Stay away from what looks like one person infusionsoft certified partners like Genie Automation, with no metrics from clients and non-profit volunteer positions at the chamber that have been terminated.

Makes little sense to go from a CFO to a volunteer at a non profit. Good luck, InfusionSoft also has a Marketplace .

Anyone here have experience with InfusionSoft Certified Partner Janelle Bledsoe with Genie Automation in Nipomo, CA ? We see no other associates listed on the website.

The testimonial page from the GenieAutomation website shows NO client results, but client accolades of which NONE mention InfusionSoft or having used it??

Some mention project mangement and office administration as type of project help Genie Auotmation has provided, that would be useful as well.

Is it true, that anyone can buy the "InfusionSoft Certified Partner" with $2K and pass a test ? We are in Santa Barbara and could use some help with marketing automation but not over the phone.

Thank you if anyone can provide certified partner referrals close by.
