Theos Medical/ One stop bedwetting

Theos Medical is such an unethical company. No words can describe the disgust I feel for this company.

They also go by One stop bedwetting now. They pay for reviews and rubbish other alarms on the market. They should feel very ashamed for the way they conduct business. They have no customer service skills and a rubbish product.

Stay away from this company and their products. Customers do your research. Look at all the negatively written about this company. It's worrying and all that should be happening is that your child should be receiving a great quality bedwetting alarm to help them stop bedwetting.

This company offers nothing. Their alarm is cheap with an unethical company behind it.

Completely agree. The company is unethical- lies and manipulation abound, including fake reviews, poor quality of products, customer service, and terrible treatment of its workers.

Suckered by Chummie Elite:(

After a terrible experience with Chummie Elite I got DryBuddyEZ which worked great!

I got suckered by Chummie into buying their Chummie "Elite". Piece of junk, which refused to work. Chummie did not want to do anything with it either. I should have known better when I could not see any hard specs. On eBay Chummie said

"Loudest alarm available – Great for deep sleepers"

B.S. My child would not get up. And Chummie gives no measurements of loudness. And I could go on and on and on...!!!

I looked at www.bed-wettingalarms.com and realized what a fool Chummie made of me. For their alarm there is no loudness and very little other measurements. And looking at all of the alarm left me with no doubt that DryBuddyEZ should be my choice. And ONLY $29.99 against Chummie Elite's $79.99 . Maybe Chummie should call it Chummie for Elite Suckers! That's how I felt.

DryBuddyEZ has done everything claimed and was so easy to use. And I wasn't wasting time and money on tape and other gizmos that Chummie keeps sticking its customer with (sorry, suckers, not customers).

So don't let Chummie's B.S. against DryBuddyEZ make a sucker out of you. If you had the misfortune to read it, you just know how crazy Chummie can get.

Get a DryBuddyEZ. EZ on you and on your wallet! I am very pleased with DryBuddyEZ. Stay away from anything Chummie :(

The *** who posted this is DryBuddy himself. The *** is wondering why even after dropping prices to under $35 no one will buy his alarm.

Fact is that DryBuddyEZ is ***.

Chummie has given over 500 samples to people to test and they are now starting to give feedback on various sites. Drybuddy and Enuresis Solutions are badmouthing Chummie and their products by writing a large number of blogs under different names when they really should be focusing on growing their company and cheap *** product.

Get a life fool. The reviews are genuine and so are customers feedbacks.

You are jealous of others success.

Fraud & Collusion by Chummie to favorably stuff their Amazon Product Reviews.

This is being written to express my disgust at Theos Medical Systems and the extra-ordinarily large number of fake "Paid" reviews posted by Theos for their Chummie products on Amazon. A very current and detailed analysis of the "reviewers" of Chummie products on Amazon can be found at this site:

https://sites.google.com/site/fraudonamazonreviews/

Look at this site using your internet browser. My quick estimate based on this hard data is that the very great majority of reviews for Chummie products written by persons who are NOT Amazon Verified Purchasers are written by touts hired by Chummie to provide this great abundance of 5-stars for their products. I have seen much written about how unethical Theos and its owner are. But this beats everything I have seen to date. And the author has backed up all of the data by these paid reviewers so that any changes or deletions can be debunked.

Someone seriously needs to debunk Chummie, who's lifeline is lies and hype. Think of all the people who have been suckered by this "paid for by Chummie" fake advertising on Amazon!

Chummie is Awesome. I love it

The Chummie Bedwetting Alarm is the best bedwetting alarm in the market. I love it and so does my son.

I heard first about Chummie from our pediatric urologist who said it has helped so many other children and how safe and effective the product is.

It has helped my son and he is able to sleep dry at night. We are now saving over $500 per year on diapers and soiled laundry.

I have recommended Chummie Bedwetting Alarm to everyone as a safe and effective treatment to cure nocturnal enuresis. Chummie is a life saver for parents whose children are bedwetters.

This is typical Chummie hype. Including the above claim that a competitor rocks their product. Yes. I agree that Chummie deserves rocks. Thrown at it! It is the most over-hyped and worthless bedwetting alarm which was kept afloat on a life vest blown with hot air. Now the air is leaking out and Chummie is sinking rapidly!

Don't waste your time or money on this junk.

Look at https://sites.google.com/site/comparebedwettingalarms/wired-alarms to get something worthwhile. Chummie may not be around long enough to even honor their warranty.

Chummie is a Ripoff. Lousy product. No service

I bought a Chummie bedwetting alarm at Best Buy. It looked pretty and I thought I could rely on Best Buy to a carry good product.

That was a big mistake. The product was flimsy plastic, badly designed, and worked poorly. I called Chummie to explain my problems. Basically, they had a "go-to-***" attitude.

So I went to Best Buy and asked for my money back. Another "go-to-***" situation. Buy a bad product from a bad company and you get treated badly.

Don't touch Chummie or Best Buy with even a ten foot pole. They will sucker you in and leave you stranded with the garbage they provide.

And don't fall for all of their advertising. It is very exaggerated and meant to fool innocent people.

I had a similar experience. Bad Chummie product.

Terrible Chummie and Best Buy service. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that you use another product. Stay away from this lousy product and these bad companies.

If you are looking for a much better product, check www.bedwetalarms.com . It provides detailed specifications for most bedwetting alarms.

You will immediately see how poor Chummie is as a comparable product, and how they charge way too much for it. :(

Totally pissed off with Chummie!

I am so totally pissed off with Chummie and Theos Medical. I have done them so many favors by giving negative reviews on their behalf against competitors.

Some of these I was asked to do by Theos. I could write a book on how to be negative about competitors. I have been doing this since 2012. Many of their competitors would be much stronger, and Chummie would be much weaker without my help and some others like me.

Chummie and Theos have even learned from me. And now they are kicking me out!

That's gratitude? Chummie and Theos are shameless and totally ungrateful!

I am flabbergasted that Chummie can get away with such immoral, unethical and illegal behavior. Starting from their absurd and exaggerated advertising more than a year ago, and their behavior on Amazon where it was obvious that they were posting many of their 5-star reviews, I have always considered Chummie to be very "shady.". But blatantly outside the law?

I wonder who will put the facts together and do something that would have an honest impact (no pun intended) on these dishonest people?

Guest

Look at a new site www.bedwetalarms.com which gives detailed facts about the bedwetting alarms sold in the U.S., and allowing easy factual comparisons. It becomes obvious that Chummie is a very poor value that is also high priced.

So Chummie has to play dirty with the competition. Chummie would be out of business if people knew the truth about Chummie.

Chummie is a COMPLETE WASTE of Time and Money!

JohnMay 16, 2013 at 3:53 PM

Chummie is a complete waste of time and money. It is poorly designed and made. Has fewer features than competing alarms and works poorly, with numerous false alarms (perspiration?) and no alarms (Chummie forgot to sound?). This is a $100 joke. Chummie has been able to keep it alive only through strong marketing (read false and excessive advertising). My son and I would not go near a Chummie after its continuing failures, and that of its maker to support it.

Stay away from this useless thing. Its not even heavy enough to use as a paper weight or a door stop!

I also had a terrible experience with Chummie and its maker. Apart from advertising it a LOT, they also treat is as a terrible product ("Don't bother us with your problems about Chummie.").

Chummie is a scam.

Don't get fooled about it. I would bet that many of the positive "reviews" have been posted by the manufacturer or its agents!

Anonymous

The Trouble with Chummie and Theos is that they are *** Artists

For over one year, Theos Medical Systems, the maker of Chummie, has been playing a *** game. Chummie's shills go and give a high rating to one manufacturer's products, and a low rating to another manufacturer's products, both sets of reviews under the same name. Chummie is thereby trying to create trouble between these two manufacturers who may think that the other manufacturer is creating problems. In reality, Chummie and Theos are the cause and creators of any such bad feelings.

Shame on you, Chummie and Theos. Together with all of your false advertising and self-complimentary reviews, you are undoubtedly the least ethical party in the bedwetting alarm business.

Honest and ethical customers should boycott you!

You are all correct. Go look at a new site www.bedwetalarms.com which gives detailed comparisons of just about all bedwetting alarms sold in the US.

It becomes very obvious how poor Chummie is compared to several of its competitors. So the only way for them to stay alive is by falsely running down the competition that has superior features and are superior products.

Guest

I have also heard bad things about Chummie's parent, Theos Medical Systems. Apparently, their strategy has been to bad mouth their competition and try to create conflict from which they think they would benefit. Anything that may make life tougher for their competition.

Ethics and being professional has zero priority for these people.

Stay away from them!

Unbelievably bad product and company

I made the mistake of buying a Chummie at a local store. First night my child was wet.

The alarm did not go off because the sensor cable slipped out of the alarm. Second night, after the alarm went off, I could not get the alarm taped to the briefs. Chummie seems to make this difficult instead of the simple clips I have seen elsewhere. With lots of big band-aids I finally succeed.

Third night nothing works. Fourth day I try to return it at the store where I bought it. "Sorry, we don't give refund." So I call Chummie. Must be break time as the phone keeps ringing.

One hour later someone picks up the phone. When I say I am calling for a refund, he disconnects the phone. I call again. Again I am disconnected when I ask for a refund.

These people are complete crooks.

I have sent a letter to the BBB but I doubt if Chummie gives a da** about ethics. Don't waste your money on Chummie. There are much better alarms for as little as one-third Chummie's highly inflated price, which I found out about later when talking to my doctor about the Chummie ripoff.

Chummie gives you less for more! What a joke on the buyer!

You should look at a new web site www.bedwetalarms.com which lays out factual details about all the major bedwetting alarms sold in the US. These detailed facts are laid out so that you can consider everything logically and make factual comparisons.

It is easy to see that Chummie does poorly against several of its competitors, and also is priced very high. Darlene is correct.

Chummie is a bad bargain for any customer. So Chummie has to resort to unethical tactics to get attention and win over ignorant customers.

Guest

I just read this and agree with you 100%.

I hate Chummie!

I agree. I had the same experience with Chummie and their customer. I would not recommend this product.

Guest

This has been my experience also. Chummie has got where it is just because of lots of false advertising and outright lies.

I don't believe much of the "good" stuff that they must have posted about themselves. My experience with their product is that it is obsolete and overpriced and deficient in many ways.

And Chummie is probably the most disreputable company in the bedwetting business. Stay away from them!

Chummie and Theos Medical are scammers

I got a Chummie which did not work at all. Chummie says they don't have defective products and I must be doing something wrong. It DOES NOT WORK! I can't get my money back, and am left with a piece of trash.

I was a fool to listen to all of their exaggerated reviews. Now I am convinced that most of these "good" reviews were posted by Chummie. What a scam!

What makes it even worse is that I now see that I can get better alarms than Chummie for one-third to one-half of what this piece of *** from Chummie cost me. A total rip off!

Chummie is a Bummie

I like that phrase "Chummie is a Bummie." It sounds so appropriate for a bummer product that has been chummed up falsely. I agree.

www.bed-wettingalarms.com really shows how poor it is compared to its competition. Even if you look at the least expensive of the dozen or so wired alarms compared here, this $29.99 alarm is much better and has much better features than Chummie. In line with Chummie's apparent lack of ethics, they must have started bag-mouthing it and anything else that they are scared of.I have been controlling my disgust with this lousy Chummie alarm for months. It has been a very bad experience for me.

I have seen some of Chummie's reviews, and I also agree that these are fake, and many of them posted by Chummie to make them look great. Great at what? Great at selling a lousy product? Great at convincing many people to get suckered?

That's how I feel. You people should be ashamed of yourselves for gimmicking so many people, including me. You really don't care about truth in advertising. You probably don't know how to even care about such a thing. Shameful!I have also noticed some crude postings that obviously come from you and your shills.

Also, start respecting U.S. laws, if you intend to continue to try and do business here.

How about "Chummie is Crummie?" Look at a new site www.bedwetalarms.com which logically lays out many detailed facts and features of the principle bedwetting alarms sold in the US. You can logically and easily compare Chummie with the other alarms. It does appear to be better than some of the obsolete alarms that are still on the market, but with poor features and a high price it really cannot compete on merits with several other alarms.

Guest

That name does sound right. I agree with what you have said above.

There are too many people on this site and elsewhere who don't seem to care about what they do or say, as long as they can profit from it. Who were those short weasely guys on Star Trek, who only thought about "PROFIT" and otherwise had no ethics? Theos Medical (Chummie) reminds me of them.

I also have a friend in this area who knows someone there tell me something similar. :sigh

Scammers and Frauds

I bought a Chummie. The things didn't work worth a darn. I couldn't get my money back. They said it works fine, but it does not work. Now I 'm stuck with it.

I am a fool for believeing all their advertising and "good" reviews. I'd bet that most of these reviews were posted by the scammers at Chummie to fool people like you and me. Chummie is terrible and a complete waste!

My daughter wet the bed for six years. We tried several options like medication, counselling, etc., then we tried using a bedwetting alarm. We first tried the Chummie. After using the Chummie for six weeks my daughter still kept wetting the bed, the alarm was difficult to use and was uncomfortable. My daughter's urologist then told us about another bedwetting alarm. Within eight weeks of using this, my daughter stopped wetting the bed totally. This was a wireless alarm and you can check them out at www.bedwetalarms.com .

I bought the Chummie alarm for my son and was 100% pleased. It worked exactly as it should and my 6 year nightmare of stripping urine soaked linens and showering my son every morning before school.

His bed wetting was from being a deep sleeper. I guess this product might not work for everyone, but it was a life saver for us.

Guest

Both of you are correct. I looked at the new site www.bedwetalarms.com which lays out factual data about almost all bedwetting alarms sold in this country.

The data is detailed and laid out logically for easy comparisons. Chummie fairs poorly, in features and price, except against some obsolete alarms. Chummies strategy seems to be that you can fool mopst of the people most of the time.

And if you advertise enough and make enough false statements, perhaps you can stay alive. Only time will tell.

Chummie and Theos Medical Systems Use False Advertising and Reviews

Chummie, though their parent Theos Medical Systems, makes HUGE claims in their advertising:

Over 100,000 alarms sold wordwide,

World's most advanced bedwetting treatment system,

World's #1 Recommended Bedwetting Alarm,

and so on. And all the glowing reviews on Amazon from people who have never bought Chummie there or have any other reviews on Amazon. Pretty much the same theme, that nothing compares with Chummie! Others have pointed out that Chummie makes up their own reviews, and I must believe it with my bad experience.

Chummie is painful to attach and use, needing sticky tape to attache the sensor to briefs. And some customers have pointed out that even this tape isn't sticky enough, and they had to get their own stickier tape. The alarm has no vibration mode, so it doesn't even equal most alarms, let alone be the "World's most advanced..." In addition, in my experience, and that of others on Amazon, the sensor attachment to the alarm would slip out when my child moved in his sleep. I had to tape it in! The sensor "corroded" quite rapidly and "disintegrated." The clip for attaching to clothes was so flimsy that it broke on the third day. And if you really want to compare hard evidence, comparing facts for Chummie against about 10 of its standard competitors! You can now find these facts at www.bed-wettingalarms.com .

Chummie SUCKS! What a waste of time and money! And how do these people get away with all of their false and blown-up claims? Theos Medical System SUCKS!

I just bought chummie on line for my son. It attaches easily to briefs with very sticky tape.

It is easy to use and my son puts it on himself. We are starting the 5th night with it.

It is working well. Sometimes he sleeps through the alarm but last three nights went well .

Warning: Customer Beware:

Regarding Chummie (Bedwetting Alarm).

I purchased the Chummie Pro. This unit comes with a very thick plastic mylar sensor pad.

The unit works very well when wet, but the plastic sensor is extremely hard to sleep on and tends to snap and crack when moving around on it, even when placed under the sheets.

Their Tech Support Line is a “Joke” and a waste of your time. You would do much better by choosing another brand.

Guest

A waste of money, I felt really a shamed in buying this useless system for my son who is still wetting the bed.

Guest

Look at a new site www.bedwetalarms.com which gives factual details about every bedwetting alarm sold in the US. This lets you easily compare different alarms, including Chummie.

It is very evident that Chummie is a poor featured alarm which is also high priced. A BAD deal for the consumer.

That explains why Chummie aggressively runs down its competition. If Chummie cannot continue to fool its potential customers, Chummie would be out of business.

Guest

We Chummies pride ourselves on being able to hook you and crook you. Great fun for us. Keep on coming.

Guest

This is so true. This seller buys cheap junk from China, hypes it big time.

Catches suckers to pay an absurd price for something that is a poor performer, by comparing it with old products 12 to 32 years old! You are buying a Jugo (remember that junk from Yugoslavia) while paying a BMW price!

Ugh! :(
