Appliance Theft/Agent Neglect

I purchased a home in Everett and Matthew Reichlin at MLSonline.com. was my real estate agent. It was understood from the beginning that all appliances were to be included in the purchase. This was verified by the inspection and by various conversations during the entire sale process. The day after I moved in, I went to use the washer/dryer and found that the seller had stolen them and put old appliances in their place that did not work. I immediately contacted Matthew and he was as upset as I was and suggested calling the police. He contacted the seller's agent. They refused to help in any way and the seller had left town! I contacted the BBB and explained everything. To make a long story short, I also found out that my agent had not filled in the contract correctly and had left out checking the washer/dryer. This entire transaction was done late at night online with an electronic signing which was very confusing to me. I was totally focused on the signing and trusted Matthew to handle the contract based on all that we had discussed. I contacted him about this and, at first, he said he realized that he had made a mistake but then abruptly changed gears, and said he had told me that the seller wanted the washer and dryer which was not true! I have all the emails exchanged with him about this matter. Finally, I had to go out and purchase a new washer/dryer and have them installed for $2,070.00 as some adjustments had to be made. I am recently retired and had to put this purchase on a credit card as it was something that never should have happened. I had to put out over $8,000 to make this house fit to live in but the $2,070 was not in the budget as the original washer/dryer should have been there when I moved in the house. I have been attempting to get Matthew or Cindy Gilmore at MLSonline.com to address this but they completely ignore my phone calls and emails. If I had known the way I would be treated, I certainly would never have used this real estate company or this agent.

User's recommendation: Never use MLSonline.com.

Caught realtor being dishonest so he wouldn't have to do his job

Doug Bebo wouldn't do his job and was dishonest, and violated Ethics rules on more than one occassion. The seller's agent stated their company will also be filing a complaint with the Dept. of Commerce along with my complaint.

Shady Business Practices and Horrible Treatment!

Horrible experience and continues to get worse and worse. I used them to make an offer on a house in October. The offer wasn't accepted, but a few weeks later I became privy that several of their business practices were illegal or highly unethical. It was only then that I found I had been unknowingly slid a 6-month exclusive buyer contract while signing documents for the purchase agreement. I requested to be released from the contract because I was uncomfortable conducting business with them any further. They refused my release request. I made 50+ attempts to contact the VP and CEO to discuss the situation and they were all ignored. My appointed agent went nearly 2 months without sending me any listings. A complaint was made with the Department of Commerce, but they cannot force the MLS Online to release me from my contract. I am literally being held hostage and refuse to even think about buying a house and make them a 3% commission. They are shady and will not take time for their clients unless they know it will benefit them. Not the type of business anyone should get involved with.

Rude Woman

This realtor is the rudest peson that i ahve ever spoken with. I spoke to her about a house that she was listing and she was just a wench. I do not suggest that anyone does business with her. She is a joke, I will also be complaining to the MLS Online which is the company that she works for. She was a snob and said that she wouldnt deal with people that were buyinmg small homes, that she only delt with the wealthy. DONT LIST YOUR HOUSE WITH HER. Everytime i see her name i will do everything i can to stear eople away.

I'm not surprised at all re: the above comment. I've had a similar experience with Chris Madison, who works with the same company. Extremely rude to tenants.
