I AM REALLY PISSED OFF NOW !!! !!!
!!! !!! I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION SINCE DECEMBER AND PAYMENT BY BANK ACCEPTED BUT THEN A MESSAGE COMES UP SAYING "Error processing your card. Our card processor says transaction declined 54 try again." We have tried using three different debit cards which are in current use and have been used in the past for renewal of subscription.
We have been subscribers since at least 2015 and every year it has been a mission to renew.
This year we did not even receive a renewal notification. Nothing in our situation has altered - address, email, bank etc.
User's recommendation: Unable to do this until our problem is resolved.

SEE ABOVE We have been subscribers to The Week magazine since at least 2015 and thoroughly enjoy the content. HOWEVER not once has it been easy to renew our subscription and trying to order the Junior Week for our grandsons a nightmare though we did succeed for one year!
THIS RENEWAL December/January 2024 we received no notification that Renewal was due. We have been on line numerous times (must be at least a dozen) our attempts have failed - the last couple of times this has been due to The Week not accepting our Visa card details. This is despite the fact that nothing has changed in our situation - same address, same email, same bank, same account number etc.
We have been passed through "Call Centers" with promises to call back (never fulfilled). We just do not seem to be able to get through to someone who is actually employed directly by The Week and who cares about their readers..We are determined not to give up this battle/quest for renewal as we so enjoy this excellent publication.
We have to date received no response from The Week regarding our problem.

Missing issue

Cannot access subscription
I spent an hour and a half on the phone with two representatives, the last being Blaine. I cannot access my account with the account number.
I am not receiving emails from the Week for a password reset even though I receive emails from every other organization.
The customer service cannot contact the Tech Department except by email. So I sit and wait for several days to see if, in fact, the tech depart will resolve this issue.
Consider:
1 - having customer service be able to transfer to the tech department
2 - providing temporary passwords by phone
3 - more prompt service than a 2-3 day wait to hear from the tech department
Good experience with phone order. Did not try website.

Trying the 6 free issues offered. My understanding was after that I could decide if I wanted to subscribe. I keep getting an invoice of what I owe and I never said I would subscribe. I am owed 4 more
Preferred solution: To be sure the next 4 free issues will be delivered as advertised.
Haven't received my subscription and you cashed the check on the 27th of April

Missed Issues
User's recommendation: Just wanted to let you know, I personally object to your use of "pissed" in reference to your readers correspondence. The English language is far too rich for you to think you must use such words to be "modern" in your outlook. Crude doesn't equal modern.

Preferred solution: Just looking for a stop for 10 weeks. Can you do that please? Stop now start again middle of June .
