Thoroughly disappointed and left filling defrauded. After lots of promises before I paid, turns out Vida Consultancy gets men from Elite Singles where the membership is £125!!!
The guy I was introduced to showed me a message, that he received in his inbox on Elite Singles, from a Vida Consultancy employee luring him into meeting with a great match for free. He admitted lying on his Elite Singles profile that he is a Company Owner, where in fact he is a driver! After Vida Consultancy convinced me that they have accomplished successful men on their books I was introduced to a driver who is unemployed at the moment. This agency is a pure and simple rip off, and confortable to lie without any consideration about how we feel.
Makes me sick that every negative comment is responded by we never met anyone with that name; you should be ashamed of yourself. Fancy only getting 5*, even top companies don't get them, so be realistic.
I even called your office in New York, it turns out it is not yours; it is an American company which simply connected with you, same as you connected with Elite Singles in order to exchange profiles. I had more fun on dating apps since I gave up on your useless service.

Former client
Still think the idea has potential but NOT with VIDA. Absurd profiles were created by the writing team.(without my approval).
Emails to women saying Id be in touch when I got back from Italy were sent out. Not sure how that first real convo would have gone considering Ive never been to Italy?! Last count - 174 emails sent out on Match and hundreds more contacts on 4 other sites and ZERO dates.
Bank account a couple thousand lighter was all I got. Avoid!

Had a very negative impression of VIDA select after phone call with a 'Consultant'
I found VIDA online and had a free call to speak with a consultant MacKenzie Ziegler for about 30 minutes which was a complete waste of time. Purpose of the call was for MacKenzie to get information about myself and my preferences.
She spent the whole time trying to sell the agency and how elite they are. She then proceeded to convince me to buy a higher tier of membership which she said was the minimum price offered by VIDA although their website quoted a lower amount. MacKenzie kept hammering on my age without trying to find out anything else about me in an attempt to convince me how hard she would have to work to find me a match. It was clear she was trying to scam me by trying to convince me that it would take a lot of effort and time to find a match unless I signed up for higher tier of membership.
She agreed to email me a list of services and prices which were never mailed to me neither did she respond to my email. I was one of the lucky ones who did not actually sign up with them and did not lose money but it is clear that the agency is a scam, and they prey on people's vulnerabilities.
I am writing this review in the hope that others will read this before signing up with them and spare themselves the aggravation and monetary loss other reviewers have suffered.
It is obvious VIDA select spends a lot of time and effort in false advertising to bait people to buy into their scam.

Waste of money/ scam
I made the mistake of finding them online and reaching out for a free consultation in ny. This is when my nightmare became.
I was quoted 25k And 15k, and presented with pictures of men that I had described. I’m sharing this to help others that will fall for this scam. After a one hour interview with Gina, where I poured my heart out, she pulls out pictures of men I woul meet and made lots of false promises. I could not afford the fees since other matchmaking companies cost far less in nyc.
Miraculously, a week later she calls with a special price just because she liked me a lot and wanted to help me.
I’m sure this is done with everything. I had mentioned that I could not pay more than 10k.
Soon after I pay, they scheduled another 2 hour interview with so called psychology principles- there was nothing psychological about the interview. I was then presented with completely different match options this time. After Inquiring I was informed that the original matches shown to me were “in a relationship”.
They knew this all along :/
It has been a non stop battle to try to get my money back. Gina claims that she put in a lot of time to find me someone. The one match that I was set up with was found online. Gina takes your money and then goes fishing online to find you matches on ok Cupid and tinder.
I wish this was told to me, I would not pay her thousands to go fishing and then fired me to go out with someone in not attracted to.
I have already started consulting a lawyer and I was informed that what they are doing in ny is illegal. Please do your homework before you sign up.
Please don’t feel sorry for yourself if they end up scamming you. You were at least warned by me.
They are not allowed to charge you more than $1000 dollars and you have to get 1 match per month.
Do your homework before you sign up.
Waste of money
This company is a waste of money. They trick you into hiring expensive photographers
The send you those man who are below average.
I fire them after two months after which they couldn’t find any dates for
Very disappointing experience
Don’t use them

Scammers!
Giving this company over 25K to help me find a match was the worst mistake of my life. I agree with all the following complaints made against this company.
I was shown pictures of matches and after paying, the matches were magically in a relationship, not compatible or not interested in meeting me. I don't have problem finding matches online. I was hoping to pay and find quality. Later, I learned they go online to search on tinder, ok cupid, jdate.
Then, they refused to give me my money back, stating they spend time searching on my behalf. That was never my problem. They suddenly didn't have anyone, when I asked them if I can search their database for matches- they declined.
It was obvious they don't have a sizable database. Shame on you- It is only a matter of time you scam will collapse

Vida consultacy rubish
The nasty experience that I had with Vida Consultancy, led me to write one of the worst reviews I have ever written. In my search for one of the best life mates, and after being told that Vida Consultancy is the “only agency” to be able to help me, I registered.
However, everything seemed to go wrong from the very moment I joined and paid Rachel MacLynn’s dating agency. I could easily make out that most of the profiles were non-existent; Rachel created these profiles only to increase her business and show to people that Vida Consultancy had a large list of “members”. In addition, the people I met (who didn’t even pay a penny) of this agency seemed to have a not-so-serious approach towards finding life mates. They seemed interested in short-term dating and sex.
Two of the guys got drunk while on “date” with me. One even insulted me telling me “Who in their right mind would pay Vida Consultancy: it is the one man band, Rachel going around London from bar-to-bar begging people to tell her a bit about themselves, hilarious”. I was the silly one who paid her £5000! I actually feel more insulted now, when I read Rachel’s comments; perhaps her agency was not for us!!!
However, when you meet her, she tells you how she is actually the only one on the planet who can help you, and all other agencies are rubbish. Searching for life partner is a very serious affair; however, Vida Consultancy has made a mockery out of it. Rachel simply plays with the emotions of people looking for prospective partners to settle with in life. She should be ashamed of herself.
Rachel, imagine if this was to happen to your parents and their hard earned money. Anyone who has been traumatized by this agency should write reviews about the same so that people come to know about it.
My review is with an aim to tell people not to be duped by Rachel MacLynn. I left this review on a few more websites
Service below expectations
This company is trying to compete with the more established matchmakers but trailing far behind.
It lacks both sufficient quantity of members on its books as well as quality. In a bid to grow, they will sign anyone up, when in reality if a prospective customer is not a match for their existing database, they should say now. Further, they have a service where they say that if they don't have matches on their books, they will scout for matches. The major flaws in this are that they people they find haven't given in-depth briefs so are little known to them, haven't paid the entry fee so take a low-commitment attitude to this dating, and on occasion, they are in relationships. Nothing about the service is personal meaning that you will deal with a handful of matchmakers, most of whom you have never met.
I suggest that if you are prepared to spend this sort of money, you spend a little bit more and seek the services of another, more experienced matchmaker who won't over promise and under deliver. Remember, once you pay, you will not get a refund however appalling the service be.
Rachel MacLynn Vida Consultancy over promised!
I completely agree with the negative issues regarding Rachel MacLynn’s services; no members basically. I was promised so much by her, and naively joined, to end up being set up with women who do not fit what I am looking for, as far as appropriate women that I am interested in.
I never have anything in common with them, and have been embarrassed and offended by the comments from these women after the first interaction. Not to mention that women were not even paid members.
In my opinion Vida Consultancy is to be avoided, as there are much more established companies, and Rachel MacLynn is simply trying her luck. Philip
Ripoff Exclusive matchmaking
Absolute ripoff. No suitable matches.
Wrong ages, wrong locations including interstate! They are also 100s of miles from where I live, not my intellectual equals by any shape or form. Age groups spanning 15-20 years. Having received my first match (totally unsuitable) it took at least five calls to The Vida Consultancy (unanswered/messages not returned) before I gave up and sent an email request for someone to ring me.
When they finally did they said they'd get back to me with another match, which they didn't. After five weeks and several more calls, finally Rachel responds that she has someone 'very interesting' for me...who turns out to be the very same guy as my first introduction!
I am considering bringing an action for misleading and deceptive conduct. Rachel is simply pack of money grabbing liar.

Exclusive matchmaking Vida Consultancy Ripoff
Complete lack of service and integrity. I joined The Vida Consultancy about 12 months ago.
The first introduction was offered quickly. Very nice gentleman, but it went no further. I followed all the instructions and gave immediate feedback and was assured that Rachel MacLynn had 'someone in mind'. Then....nothing for 8 months.
I called and was told I had been overseas for that time. Well that was news to me! An introduction came straight away. Once again, very nice gentleman, but no further interest.
I gave feedback and of course, Rachel MacLynn had 'someone in mind'. 4 months later, no call. It was clear that Rachel had absolutely no interest in me after the money was paid (the most expensive two dates I have ever been on). The only time I received a call was in response to mine.
No apology, just simply that there was, of course, someone I just had to meet...In the end I simply felt insulted and completely duped. I certainly would not recommend this agency to anyone.

Rip-off Matchmaking by Vida Consultancy
I was duped by Rachel MacLynn in November 2013, I live abroad and I was naive. Not a single dissent introduction so far by her Vida Consultancy advertised as the exclusive matchmaking!!!
However, I had many offers from Rachel to meet for a drink and to talk further!!!! I met two very unattractive and rude women, whom I wouldn't even look at on a street. Now even further scam by Rachel, I was invited to go on Vida8 events www.vida8.com, where you pay £1000 in installments, and I was asked to pay £4000 upfront. Basically, the men and women without money, who can hardly afford £1000 are going to meet the men and women who are duped into paying £2000 - £4000 upfront!!!!
Rachel runs a blatant rip-off and I feel ashamed being duped by her. Stay way away from Rachel.

Horrible experience, and I hope I will never get in such a situation again. I was lied about "numerous well off" members, but in reality, I was introduced to two men who didn't even pay and had some simple jobs.
Not to mention they were over 40 without their own properties. This is a professional scam and owner Rachel MacLynn should be ashamed of herself for ripping off people.
