I am receiving your magazine thatI have never subscribed to and I need you to stop mailing it to me.

So disappointed
TI have always love getting Veranda Magazines. When, I went to mailbox today was so excited to receive my first copy in a couple of years.
Very busy day getting ready for Christmas kept thinking when I finish I can sit down and look at and read the magazine that o enjoyed so much. I opened the magazine and what a let down.
What in the world happen to this magazine in two years it is not enjoyable at all I have some of my old ones and I went through some thinking it was just me. NOPE
It has gone down the tubes. So disappointed.
I thought this was a decorating magazine. I think you are bringing political things into a decorating magazine in the Tennessee Temple Of Hope.
The articles are so chopped up ! Disgusted

Disappointed in my all time favorite magazine
Veranda has been my favorite magazine as an Interior Designer for years. It has been a huge disappointment to me lately.
The look has completely changed and I have no interest in it. So, I must say good-bye after many many years of enjoyment.
Veranda Restaurant Employee Was Rude
On March 21, 2010, I had a reservation to have brunch at this restaurant at 11:30 a.m. This, as you must know, was the day of the L.A.
marathon. When I attempted to park my vehicle, however, I was told that my vehicle could not be parked by the restaurant's valet service because my small, 11-year-old dog was resting in the back. I asked where I was supposed to find parking, and the valet service told me I could park at one of the nearby parking lots. The parking lots were full due to the L.A.
Marathon festivities. Please keep in mind that I was having brunch with my mother, who was with me, who is disabled, and walks with a cane. It would be hard for her to hobble from one of the parking lots to the restaurant, and the valet service should have exercised more sensitivity and discretion.
After driving around endlessly for 45 minutes, I decided to change my reservation to noon so that I would have time to take my dog home and return to the restaurant.
When I called, however, the host who was working the phones that day was less than cordial. First, he asked me why I had to change my reservation at such late notice. When I explained to him that it was due to the hotel's valet service's refusal to park my car due to my dog sleeping in the backseat, he berated me by saying, "Just to let you know, no valet service will EVER park your car if there is an animal in the back. It has to do with liability issues." How refreshing to know that the Veranda's hosts also moonlight as insurance adjusters!
Needless to say, I did not even bother to change my reservation as I was so shocked at the rude, vituperative tone the employee used with me. I cannot believe that a hotel with a reputation such as Hotel Casa del Mar's would ever employ anyone with such a lack of manners. The Veranda not only lost two customers yesterday, it lost them forever.
I hope their employees go through customer service retraining so that they may know how to better treat customers in the future.

And yes I speak German, English and Dutch. I don't really care if you believe me as a "person" such as yerself, who has no understanding of civil conversation is honestly not worth much of anything. But the coolest thing is I took up a little of your time. time that you would most likely have been pushing your arrogant self on other people. So I just did some poor sap a favor.

I did not read your reply to my last post, but I did print off a bunch of your other posts to other people on this site, passed them around the office, and we all had a good laugh.
First of all, I highly doubt you speak three languages, as you can barely speak English.
Second of all, I also highly doubt that you work in IT, and to somehow “prove†that, you ramble off some jargon and list some free web services that anyone with a high school education could find.
Lastly, I don’t just doubt, I know that you never worked in customer service, because if you had, you would have been fired in a minute.

I work in IT for a major European insurance company. Not for a resturant. Sorry you guessed wrong AGAIN! I am a Microsoft Certified Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Enterasys Routing Expert and I have been working in the IT field for 12 years now.
What is your claim to fame? What have you don with your life beside complain and moan abotu how rude the entire world is to you?
