The Vapory - Biohazard On My Product! Manager Does Not Care!

*Incident happened on November 30, 2023 just posting now as I have been too busy* I had been going to The Vapory for a few years now and loved the place. However on November 30, 2023 I had a horrible experience that has caused my boyfriend and I to NEVER set foot in this place again.

I went into the store later in the night; about an hour before closing maybe. I was there to replace a tank for my boyfriends vape because I had dropped it by accident a couple months prior and it cracked. We finally had the money to get it replaced. (As well as a new coil purchase for the tank so that my boyfriend could use it again).

There was a new gentleman there, for the sake of the story I will call him John. With John being new I understood when he asked to see the vape so he could identify the tank needed. There have been plenty of times we go into the store and they ask for the vape anyways because we never know the coils we get for them. As far as I knew it was just called the Zeus tank I did not know there were different Zeus tanks entirely.

During the process of him trying to figure out what tank it was he needed to take the tank off. At the moment he did, he nicked his thumb and started to bleed. I felt bad and even apologized over and over again. However John kept telling me it was his job to fix things.

He did also inform me that they did not have band aids in the store for him. Instead he had to wrap a paper towel around his injury with a rubber band. I debated even going back home and getting him a band aid myself. However he said there was no need.

John was going to try to put the vape together with the new tank but he seemed to be struggling and I felt bad enough so I informed him that I would have my boyfriend do it at home. At that moment he got the items together and sent me on my way. However, when I got home my boyfriend started to put the vape together and we found out that the tank was not the correct one, it was too big. So I called up the store and spoke to John and explained to him that I would be on my way immediately to exchange the tank before they closed.

He agreed and I had to drive all the way back over there. When I arrived I noticed that John no longer had the paper towel on and he told me that it was done bleeding and showed me his hand. I was a bit weary but if he said it stopped I believed him, after all, I do not want to make his job harder and be a Karen. I had even bought a band aid with me from home and gave it to him still, which he did not put on.

Even while there, I was apologizing over and over again for the incident. He kept assuring me it was his job and all was okay. He still needed to see the tank set so that he could get the correct one. After sizing them up all over again and putting some pieces together he gave me a new one and sent me on my way once again.

While at home my boyfriend found smudges of blood on the tank set. Which is heavily concerning considering this is a BIOHAZARD. We got some rubbing alcohol and Q-Tips and worked on trying to get the blood off. While we got what we could see there is still the question of if there is more on it that we cannot see.

John had touched the entire tank set (not the mod) and the coil. Considering the coil is cotton it would be super dangerous to smoke on it if his blood had gotten onto the cotton. By the time we figured this all out the store was closed and I had to wake up early the next day to call the store. When I was on the phone with the manager he explained to me that I should just soak it in rubbing alcohol and that they would do nothing for me.

Mind you, I am pretty sure there are some parts of the tank set that cannot go into water, at least from what I was told. The manager even wanted to throw out to me, Well, my employee got injured. He told me that they are not even supposed to touch our stuff to begin with. So John lied?

That isnt his job? If that was not Johns job perhaps he needs to be aware of that and then maybe have a better way to figure out the tank I need? I have bought tanks before from them and they did not give me information on the tanks we bought. I just knew this one to be Zeus Tank that's it.

The manager did say he would replace the coil at no extra cost but what would be the point in exchanging the coil when he cannot use his tank set? I have to now cough up another $30-$40 I think it is, to buy him a whole new set! Having vapes is not cheap and this whole ordeal just made the price of owning one worse. This manager does not care that we would be inhaling someone elses BLOOD!

It was so disgusting, we chose to not bother with exchanging the coil for free, I now have to find a new store to trust, and I have to replace an entire tank set for my boyfriend when I simply went in there for ONLY the tank. Due to the whole situation I had paid for the coil, tank, and later a disposable vape from another 24/7 smoke shop for my boyfriend leaving me already 20-30 dollars in the hole before I even replace the tank set later.

Now we are stuck with these little disposables from this other store until we figure out what to do. Vapory, yall let me down, hardcore.
