RIPPED OFF BY THEM

THEY SAY THEY WARRANTY THEIR PRODUCTS BUT WHEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM IT IS ALWAYS YOUR FAULT. YOU DROPPED THE CHARGER THAT IS WHY IT BROKE.

WHERE YOU SCREW IT TOGETHER IS WHERE IT BROKE. I DID NT DROP IT, THE BATTERIES I USE WILL ONLY LAST FOR A HOUR OR TWO BUT WHEN YOU TAKE IT IN THEY ALWAYS SAY IT LASTS LONGER. THEY LOOK AT YOU LIKE YOUR AN ***.

I SHOPPED THERE FROM THE TIME THEY OPENED, BUT I AM FINALLY OVER IT AND WILL NOT GO BACK. I WAS A VERY LOYAL CUSTOMER.

AFTER I GOT PISSED I TEIED THE OTHER VAPOR SHOP AND EVERYTHING WAS LESS THAT HALF THE PRICE FROM THE VAPOR DEPOT.

First off, these people sell products and warranties with no written information to back them up and insure that they keep their word so they end up easily screwing you over and getting away with it. I did some digging on the background of this company and it turns out that the owner has actually been sued before for shady dealings with a previous business that they co-owned.

They are a retail store that buys from other retail stores and jacks up the prices by 3 sometimes 4 times!!!! Seriously if you like their new flavors you can buy them at tastyvapors.com.

I don't know where they purchase their small bottled flavors from, but when I find out I'll post. Hope that helps any newbies who are about to get screwed out of a few hundred dollars!

Vapor Depot in Burleson is the best Vapor Store I've been in. I've been vaping for almost 3 years now.

They have the best customer service around including Fort Worth area. The staff at Vapor Depot Burlason are all fantastastic they are very knowledgable and helpful and make your visit fun. I've left there laughing more than once.

I think you're thinking of the wrong vapor depot. They don't have a store in burleson.

But glad you had a good experience somewhere. Seems to be a lack of that with this company.

Hope this review helps someone at least a little bit. I can't post this without 50 words to I'm just filling in words.

They have the most horrendous service and rude employees who are 100% ignorant on the products they sell. Do not waste your money there.

They wont uphold thier own warranties, they have about a 300% mark up so the prices are way to high. Go to ecblends.com for the best prices at less than half on everything they charge.

The juices are way way better too. Forget the "warranty" they offer it's a scam to justify thier way over priced items.

This is my post, I did not mean to say it was at the Vapor Depot in Great Falls, MT.

I have never been there and can't speak to how they do business. This was meant for the Vapor Depot in the Kalispell Center Mall, in Kalispell MT.

Apparently you have never done research or vaped truly good eliquid, this place is a rip off, and their juice is God awful, check some of the online venders. You can spend 50 bucks get 120mls + of liquid plus free shipping.

You will never go back to that store if you do, or your probably listening to them how you never can tell what your buying online ***........... Just a lie to keep you coming back

Poor customer service

After spending over approximately 500 dollars I was still treated like I was ***. Everytime I went to the store the young women who work there would make me wait while they were stocking or they would find something else to do.

I had to ask what the prices were for just about everything and their attitudes were very condensending. I have been vaping for 2 years now and I do know something about it. As far as the pricing and the warranties I think you are way overpriced.

I have purchased from other vendors and I am not treated as poorly or threatened with my warrany being voided if I don't buy their juice. I have never been treated so poorly anywhere that I have shopped before.

There is one girl with two toned hair, tatoos and a sarcastic attitude that was so condescending to me regarding a defective carbonizer that I had only purchased a couple weeks before. She refused to replace it.

Totally made me feel like I was ***.

I was a really regular customer who has been spent tons of money in the Kalispell vapor depot, but I decided that day that I will NEVER set foot in that place again because of her *** customer service. The owner is a fool to have such a sarcastic employee working for them.

We have spwnt thousands last month they gave us a broken cartimizer that was 30.00 wouldnt replace it so we wasted 80.00 on nothing the 50

Awful prices and liquid

Lets start with the juice. You can spend $20 for a small bottle (about 15 ml) at Vapor Depot or you can go online and buy a 30 ml bottle from FreedomSmokeUSA for $20 shipped and have high-quality, hand-mixed juice.

Now for the hardware. They do OK with prices on the hardware, but it's bordering on ripoff. The warranty they offer only stands if their Chinese juice is the only juice you use. People prefer having options when it comes to juice, so a conditional warranty based on only using their juice is ridiculous.

The service is like dealing with children. As soon as you bring up other vendors, the conversation turns into a slander and name-calling fest. "Spokane has a vendor who's liquid made someone's mouth bleed" is the common and over-used line they use to try and scare you into staying exclusive with TVD. Then they start talking smack about the guy at Vapor Planet, something about how he learned everything from TVD and then took off to do his own store. Good for him, because his prices and service are far better. Some good competition was needed anyway.

The Vapor Depot...Another Ripped Off Customer!!!!

I agree with everything the other post said; The Vapor Depot a mall co. out of Idaho is a rip off!

Sure wish I'd read that posting before I'd purchased my stuff there. I purchased from a mall in Montana. Every e smok item is at least twice as much as at another online U.S. store.

At the Vapor Depot 15ml. of juice for $20 vs. 50ml. for $16 after shipping cost at madvapes.

You do the math! 3&1/2 times as much for less than their 15 ml. rip off bottle! And when I had a problem with my Ego Smok system the owner offered a 10% discount on replacing the parts!

Woohoo! No Thanks! I'll buy elsewhere my replacement parts!

At 1 third the price (elsewhere) I'll take my chances on the 30 warranty over Vapor Depot's full life time warranty. Which turned out to be "10% discount on replacing the parts."

You People are crazy!!! The Vapor Depot has been wonderful in keeping my e-cig working great for me!

Anytime I have ever needed to warranty something they have been there for me no questions asked. Sure, they have their process in how things are warrantied but so does every other company that offers a warranty. And it's not like I or anyone else they deal with is out of their e-cig for any duration of time since they always give you a loaner part while yours is being tested. As for their prices on liquids...

I've tried MadVapes' liquid and it did nothing but burn my throat and make me feel like ***. You get what you pay for. Maybe you guys aren't aware of the fact that all of The Vapor Depot's liquids are ultra high end vegetable based liquids with absolutely no alcohol or di-ethylene compounds what so ever. Their liquids are safer than roughly 97% of all e-liquids produced in the world.

For me they carry the best quality products around and the safest and best tasting liquids around and you can't beat their customer service. I've tried countless other company's out there and none of them hold light to The Vapor Depot!

The Vapor Depot is ripping you off!!!!

It's simple to prove, just check out some other stores and see for yourself. example www.electronicstix.com www.vapoligy.com.

www.madvapes.com Halo ejuice. The list goes on and on. I have checked stores all over the internet and havent found any even close to The vapor depots high prices. Beware they will tell you that the other stores are selling knock off brands.

and in a few cases I found this to be true, but in most cases the stores were selling brand name products at a much lower price, and also in most cases I would save over 50 percent including shipping. I also developed blisters on my lips using the Vapor Depots juice. and havent had that problem since I have tried other juices.

PS, I would stay clear of them.

So I went and put this complaint to the test... I've been a satisfied customer of Vapor Depot for over a year now and have spent considerable money with them.

Not nearly as much I would have spent buying cigarettes but considerable. I've always known that Vapor Depot has kept a complete record of everything I've ever purchased including everything I've had to warranty with them as well as everything they've given to me for free under their loyalty program. So I went in their store location in Ponderay Idaho and asked them how much I've spent with them since I started using their products. The lady behind the counter told me without reservation that I had spent $1,264.00.

I then asked how much I had cost the company in warrantied items and freebies? She showed me on the computer screen that I have cost the company $876.31. Hmmm... So really the company has made less than $400.00 from me in over a year?

So in essence Ive been getting roughly 70% off of everything from the beginning! So that means i've really only paid $6.00 for every bottle of juice that they charge $19.99 for. And that's supposed to make them a rip off??? I really think that some people need to see the true value that The Vapor Depot is providing their customers with their lifetime warranty, loyalty programs and especially their unparalleled customer service.

Sure it's easy to get lured in by prices that on their face seem so cheap with the countless online ecig store out there but in the long run my verified math proves that you will pay more with them in the end. Furthermore, you deal with the aggravation of not having warranty and having to wait for shipping.

For me The Vapor Depot beats everyone of the places discussed by the pissed consumer's *** rant. If you want the best in everything The Vapor Depot is the only way to go!

I've bought 2 ecigs (Riva V3 and a Vamo V2) in the past 2 years, at about $45 each, and DIY my liquid at about $5 per 120ml. You go to the Vapor Depot and spend $200+ on an advanced kit, and keep going back for $20mL bottles of junk liquid at about 15mL. Run that math for me.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-605617

You cost the company that at RETAIL price. Don't be fooled if you think they actually spent that on any items they replaced for you.

Jeebus, people. For example, say someone is vaping on a simple 1100 mah ego. You can buy that same ego (the entire kit) for less than $15 online. VD paid WAY, WAY less than $15 to just replace the battery and not even the whole kit.

Say someone bought a $160 Innokin MVP 2 kit from Vapor Depot. You can buy the whole kit (authentic scratch serial number on back) for $38 to $40. For $100, you can buy 4 complete kits, then add 20 coils and 9 bottom coil tanks for $60. That's what you could get for $160.

Hmmmmmm. That's 4 freaking 2600mah battery AND device that is variable voltage and wattage folks. 10x better than vaping on any ego, smok or device without any variable voltage/wattage. Any reputable online vendor will send you any replacement if the item is actually defective.

It's not hard to find quality online vendors- if you do your homework and join a vaping group. It's great to like customer service, but anyone still buying from them is still a noob and doesn't really know what they are doing, or what vaping really entails. Which is fine... there are just some of us who can't afford to get ripped off.

I like a lot of bang for my buck, personally. I can't afford 6.99 for a .20 cent coil. So, instead I pay 1.49-1.69 and recently got 20 for $12.56. I can't afford $10 for their cheap RBC clearomizer (its the cheapest tank they have), instead I buy the exact same thing for $2.99.

I have found them even cheaper now, 28 tanks for $31 and change. So, for $44.00 I get 28 bottom coil tanks, and 20 replacement coils. So, if you were to go buy 28 tanks at vapor depot it would cost you, $280 @ $10/piece). 20 replacement coils @ $6.99 would cost you $139.80.

I spent $44 and you have now spent $419.80. I would say do the math, but I just did it for you. Now, if VD replaced 28 tanks and 20 coils, they will tell you that you have cost them $419.80. That's a lie, and to make things worse, they get their stuff cheaper than what I can even get mine.

So, they are spending LESS than $44 for 28 of their cheapest tanks and 20 coils. I would think there might be some IQ issues if anyone thinks this is a deal from VD. It's a joke and in the real world of vaping, their site is used as the hanging dummy of the opposing team that you might see at a football game. It causes disgust and anguish within the vaping community that people are being financially hi-jacked while they try to quit smoking.

It's greed at it's worst and I will continue to do all I can to help ANYONE from being ripped off. I'm angrily passionate about this and it disgusts me! VD is about resort pricing - another typical hallmark of Sandpoint. I also get high(er) quality juice @ $30 for 60ml and it ain't no Mt.

Baker Vapor *** either. Don't get me wrong, MBV is a GREAT company for seriously financially struggling folks, but they aren't my cup of tea, as far as flavor. People need to understand that VD is hoping no one does their research - and they bank on desperate people. Well, I order all my supplies every 2 weeks, like clockwork, and have a nice rhythm so that I'm not stranded and need to go to VD.

I have 2 cheap back up egos that cost me less than $15, and a vision spinner 2 that cost me less than $20. My main device as of now is an Itaste vv. You can order those for under $35 for the ENTIRE kit. I order a few tanks and coils and juice every 2 weeks.

That simple. I only order extra tanks because of my collection of juice. Juice is my biggest expense because I can't just vape a couple. I need at least 7-8 varieties @ a time.

At the prices I pay though, I can afford to try juices and get big bottles and have multiple flavors on hand. I have 7 bottles of juice I just ordered, 4- 15ml @ $10/each =$40 I paid (you pay $80 for that and a lower quality/taste), I also bought 3 30ml bottles @ $20/each= $60 I paid (you would pay $110.97). I also got 12ml of free samples, but who cares. My 60ml bottles are $30 btw.

So 30ml extra for $10. This juice of course lasts more than a month and there are 2 of us vaping. Of course I run out of some favorites, but I just order again because I can afford to @ those prices.

Imagine if you are a vapor who only needs one or 2 flavors a month, at these prices you could stock up for winter, including replacing high quality equipment- the same equipment VD sells. How long would 60ml @ $30, last you?

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-853680

Correction- you can't get 4 kits, 20 coils and 9 tanks for $160. More like 3 kits, 20 coils and 2 tanks OR more tanks and less coils.

Sorry for that mistake. It still turns out wonderful financially, compared to Vapor depot. I won't even bother going into how many egos or spinners you can get for $160, enough to last you the whole year, THAT'S for sure! For $160 you can just throw the device away if it breaks and still be ahead at the end of the year between the cost of juice, coils and tanks @ VD!!

Also, remember that there are other vaping stores in Sandpoint that would absolutely answer your vaping questions, even if you don't buy from them. So, you won't be left in the cold and or ignored in the world of vaping because you no longer buy from VD. I have only tried Vapor Creek and I don't buy from them ( as I only purchase online), but I still have questions and need help and they give it.

I do buy a juice every once in the while to support them and give thanks for their time, but that is it. Juice is only $10/15ml.

The Vapor Depot, what warranty???

The owner said "In fact, provided you use only our liquids in your e-cig (if purchased from us) you will always have a lifetime warranty on your product purchased through us. If anything goes wrong with a battery or atomizer or charger, you name it, it's replaced.

No questions asked."

Well now because of them discontinuing the vapor pen line people who bought the pen with the understanding of the lifetime warranty are being screwed... no parts, etc.

Other companies I have done business with offer a replacement with similar model if previous product is no longer available. Unhappy with this business practice, why spend all the money on something with a warranty if really the warranty doesn't exist.

I agree with the person who commented! Plus The Vapor Depot is offering 20% off a new kit if your existing kit is discontinued!

Come on, what other company does this for their customers? Seriously man, try complaining about something worth complaining about!

Guest

The pen is a dying model and it is the oldest model out there. And I don't know if you've ever heard of the terms Limited Lifetime Warranty, but nearly every product that is covered under a limited lifetime warranty can only be replaced so long as the company carries that product.

I'm just grateful to have found a company that even offers warranty on their products period.

Most companies will kick you out on your *** and will tell you too bad, buy a new one. The customer service is great too!

Regarding Vapor depot, stay clear

The owner did contact me and resolved the problem. He told me that the fiber was made from rice and assured me that it was not harmful.

He did replace the product at no charge and followed up with a phone call and asked if it was working properly. After talking with him, I do believe that he is very concerned with his customer service and making sure that his customers receive the best service possible, and that he will take the necessary steps to to make sure that his customers are satisfied.

Thank you vapor depot for going the extra mile to satisfy your customers.

Vapor Depot, Stay Clear

Product made myself & my wife very nauseous from the fiber in their atomizer burning. There was melted fiber on the atomizer.

When I tried to get something done about it, ie replacement etc, and after showing them the burnt fiber, I was told I don't know what to tell you, and was ignored for another customer. I was also told that they set up the atomizers that I received wrong. I'm taking the burnt fiber to an attorney.

They need to be more responsible for their product. The owner needs to get more involved then just answering posts trying to defend his product.

Moments after the aforementioned incident one of the owners of the Vapor Depot contacted the consumer in an attempt to remedy the matter. Upon speaking to the consumer's wife she told me the product did not make her "sick", but that they made an uncomfortable burning sensation in the back of her throat and were also unsatisfactory in flavor.

This is indicative of the cartomizer not being started correctly in that there wasn't enough Vapor Juice in the cartomizer at the time it was first activated. This in turn caused the VG coating on the elements to heat up and smoke which created a permanent harsh flavor in the product. Pertinent to this matter is that the products were replaced at no cost to the consumer.

This afternoon I placed a follow up call with the consumer and he stated that he was happy with the product and our company. He also stated that he would be happy to recant his previous statements on this site.

The Vapor Depot is a Ripoff

The Vapor Depot is a small, mall-based company in Ponderay, ID. They sell Electronic Cigarettes and e-liquid. Well, they rip people off. He says "The e-juice we sell lasts for 2 cartons worth", but 15ml hardly lasts that long. Maybe one carton at best.

On top of that, the e-cigs he sells are way too overpriced. DSE-801's for $100, 510's for even more, and now he sells a re-branded Riva for $169! Outrageous. Oh, and his liquid is Dekang liquid which comes from China. He says it's from the US, but no, it's Dekang. 15ml for $20! Dekang liquid is worth like $10 for 30ml! You get half the liquid for 2x as much.

Anyway, he's obviously out for himself and relying on his customers' ignorance in order to make massive profit. Ryan should be put out of business.

When I got into vaping, I refused to buy from them due to pricing. ABSURD!!!

People think they are getting a deal because they will give you another battery when yours breaks or whatever. Truth is you can replace 2 of the same, plus a higher quality juice for less than what you spend there on 1. MVP2 is $40 on ebay, including the cute designed ones. You can get the ego's for $6 (650mah, or a little more money and get a bigger battery)) and vision spinner for less than 14, including a new vision spinner 2 for $18 and free shipping.

Any smok also for WAY, WAY less. These people are taking advantage of new vapors and I'm glad I didn't fall prey to their scheme. Nasty one flavored juice for that price is robbery. When you have vaped good quality, you won't even believe that you used to vape the garbage they have and for an even higher price.

People should be looking at madvapes.com for $3 clearomizers that vapor depot sells for 10. Exact same clearomizers. Want juice without the chemicals and plenty of flavor? Check out Vapor Chef, Ahllusion, Good life vapor, all vg,velvet cloud vapor.

Want coils that are't $ 7 bucks? Check madvapes, ikenvape, kidney puncher, how about $1.49-1.89 each, yeah I thought that sounded better. Or go to dhgate and get 100 of them for $40. People who shop there are paying for nice vehicles for the owners and all those big screen tv's that no one watches in the store.

People need to do their research and join an online vaping group- you will get honest advice, knowledge and support so that you don't get ripped off and you can afford to vape. They will tell exactly where to go online for the best deal anything vape related. Vapor depot has nothing that online vendors don't have, no matter the brand.

They all order the same *** from the same place, vapor depot just marks it up 200-300%.

I was excited to find a vapor store in the area but the prices for liquid are 3x that of Vapor4life which is the best liquid around...batteries are also was over priced..too bad

I have been purchasing from Ponderay Vapor Depot from the beginning. After wasting $200 or more dollars on other vapor prdcts I went there, I have not received anything but excellent info and serv since then, lets face it this is all new/ a product that is in developmnt.

I experienced the sincere intent and care by the owners and Maddie from the beginning, they are diligent sincere concientious and I wish I received this kind of cust serv from other places I shop. Thank you for providing a safe alternative to cigarettes. It is saving my life, and I am 100% satisfied with Vapor Depot Ponderay.

Thanks you guys. This was not solicited by anyone, I am a happy customer, believe me, I do feel sad for the instigator of this issue, hope he can find peace in his mind, he sounds hurt and angry and seems to want to spew it in any direction.

Guest

I think your employees need to be educated a bit more in the products that they sell. I came in inquiring about atomizer ohm levels and what yours run at because I can't handle a significant amount of smoke. She kept assuring me that they were 510s...510s she kept repeating. Also, to make sure they would work on my model, she screwed one in and actually put her lips directly onto the atomizer. Then sold it to me!

I tried to email you about this, but never recieved a response.

I don't think your juice is that overpriced. You got to pay the rent somehow.

I did have one more negative about the gal at the counter.

While in the store waiting my turn, she was letting an older gentleman try out different flavors and strengths of nicotine. She started out with a pretty low dose, then when he inquired about the nicotine level not affecting him, she went up a level to around 16 or 18 mg. When he said that wasn't doing it for him either, she went clear up to 32 or 36mg. He was noticably affected afte only a puff or 2. When I looked at her, I swear she had this look of satisfaction in her eyes. He left shortly thereafter with his colleague. But I am convinced that she intentionally OD'ed him.

I don't wish any kind of retaliation that the original poster got from the owner/operator of this business. I am simply stating what happened, and what I percieved. I can't say I am unbiased in my observation, (especially after being sold a used atomizer).

You get what you pay for, and sometimes you get it up certain areas you may not want it! :)

Cheers!

i love the stuff and my only problem is that they don't have a store closer to me in washington

Guest

Speekeasy sounds like a disgruntled customer. Honestly, junk is junk, whether it's Ruyan or Joye. I'd rather build my own 5v mod for 15 bucks than spend $100+ on a lame kit that I have to recharge 3x a day.

As for Ruyan liquid, it's really not all that good, and testing has been done to more than just Ruyan liquid for safety. Compare it to the dozens of other liquids out there, and it falls short. Look at all of the e-cig users on ECF, chances are you'll find people far more satisfied with American-made liquid.

I can understand a merchant making money, but only providing a warranty on hardware if they use your liquid is pretty-much forced loyalty. Not the best business model out there. Sure they can choose to use competitors' liquid and void their warranty, and those people will then look elsewhere for replacement parts. Atomizers are a "consumable" item with a lifespan. I'll stick with dual-coil cartos and call it good.

Vapor Depot guy, you sound like one passionate dude, but when you defend yourself that intently, it sounds WAY too defensive. Lay it on a little thinner next time, as it makes it seem like you're desperate. REAL quality speaks for itself.

Guest

Their product is pure junk, but they do have good service, seems that people spend more time getting parts replaced than smoking the *** things. Like I said (JUNK).

And yes their juice is marked up about 250%, it's the only way that they can stay in business having to replace the parts every day. ps I cant hardly get one to work for more than a day or two.
