The Urban Writers Dibbly Create – Unprofessional, Unreliable, and Incomplete Refund

I had an awful experience with The Urban Writers, which operates through Dibbly Create (Dibbly Inc.), and I would not recommend their services to anyone looking for a professional writing experience.
I paid $1,050.93 on December 27, 2024, for a 30,000-word book with a January 16, 2025, deadline. The assigned writer, Ana Taylor, failed to deliver the completed first draft on time.
I was able to see a few chapters on the Dibbly Create platform, but the writing was not conversational or engaging, despite my clear instructions. I had to constantly correct the tone and noticed that much of the content was AI-generated with minimal human input. The writer frequently used overused AI-generated words such as nuanced, actionable, embark, delve, dive, and practicaleven though I specifically asked her to avoid them.
With one day remaining (January 15, 2025), Ana Taylor abruptly stopped working on the project and emailed Dibbly support, leaving me without a completed book. Since then, I have lost access to my project and have received only delayed, inconsistent responses from customer support.
