Unable to cancel home education program
- - Company ceased trading and now uses a new name.
- - Hundreds of tutors were sacked without pay.
- - Mis-sold as a subscription; cancellation not possible.
Signed up with Exemplar Education after child bought home leaflet from school. Later found out they had ceased trading, and now using this new name.
They had sacked 100's of tutors without pay, have a large web of various companies, and director has links with the finance company.
Something very dodgey going on there! £millions in debt in some of their related companies, but soaring profits in others.
Missold the scheme....turns out it is NOT a subscription service (as they state) and you cannot cancel your agreement and so are stuck with paying over £80/month over 5 years....even though it appears that it does NOT in fact follow UK curriculum, and is no longer affordable.
Bad reviews on trustpilot are blurred out, moneysavingexpert also has bad reviews, and there is even a facebook group for people who have been scammed by this company!
They will NOT allow you to simply cease using their website, and refund the money they have paid themselves from the finance company which they also direct.

Preferred solution: Keep the money i've already paid, terminate the finance agreement, block my account from accessing your education platform, and I will not take legal action, with my current level of research against your company.
