- Six months fixing faulty solar and blinds with no resolution.
- Emails and calls go unanswered, promises on items and deliveries lack follow-up.
For 6 months I have been trying to get faulty solar issues resolved in my home along with blind repairs. I have spoken to customer care teams more than five times.
I have emailed more than eight times. Prior to this my house manager tried multiple times to no avail. I have just tried to call the help line and I have had to press the "return to queue" button more than 17 times with no answer just to be placed back into the queue over and over again. Messages left are never returned.
Emails are seldom returned, if ever. Promises are made and not followed through when you do manage to get someone to speak to you.
Items have been on back order and I have been promised that they will be placed with no follow up whatsoever.
Shade Store teams have scheduled appointments before deliveries have been made. The teams arrive on site and have no clue what is happening.
They say they will get back and they never do.
I have never ever dealt with a company with such horrific customer care. I flagged this in 2018 when we first dealt with the Shade Store and the situation has deteriorated since then.

Very expensive but mediocre product. Free measurements and Shade Store installers are available only in limited urban areas, but you probably won't be told until you've chosen a window treatment and fabric.
Company's boilerplate response is "customer satisfaction is at the center of what we do." Don't believe it!! You can't even have a discussion about your issues without giving them a credit card authorization, no matter how much you've already paid for a defective product. It's always the customer's fault: "it looks normal" no matter what the customer thinks; if you install it yourself because Shade Store can't supply an installer, it's always an installation problem no matter the actual issue.
A truly awful company. Use one of their far superior competitors (or get taken).

Verified Buyer |Worst store ever
- Two shades ordered; installation was poor and scratched.
- Cordlock broke after a month; shade crooked.
- Cancellations, refunds delayed; paid $2,500.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE SHADES STORE.
I ordered two shades from them.
It was so difficult to schedule the installation and the technician did not install the shades correctly. One of the shades has scratched and I can barely open/close it because they put the handle too high to use it.
One month later, the cordlock of one of the shades broke.
They sent a technician to come fix it but I was then left with a shade that was not straight.
When I contacted customer service again, they ordered a new set of shades and schedule an installation.
They canceled the installation at the last minute because the technician's car "broke down". They reschedule it again and no one came.
I am now fighting to get a refund but no one is answering me of course.
I paid $2,500 for two shades, it is insane.
Worst decision I have ever made.
DO NOT USE THE SHADE STORE.

Just go somewhere else, seriously. For $600 you would expect to get what you ordered right?
Nope!
That 100% satisfaction they boast on their website just means they will call you at 6am to spout a bunch of corporate nonsense ultimately offering to sell you a replacement at a discount (with no promise the new set won't have the same issue) or give you advice on how to maybe fix it yourself that also conveniently voids the warranty. Natasha pitti was the customer service representative, they have not responded to attempts at followup emails or calls.

- Ordered a 50k project in May; completion planned for June.
- Measurement errors and deliveries; curtains mis-sized.
- By end of August, it was not ready.
We walked into the shade store Miami begin of may .
We make an order for 50k and everything was smooth and possible to complete by end of June .
To measure it took 2 weeks for an appointment ,even the HQ review it , Took an other 2 weeks !
Then the delay starting and even wrong deliveries .Wrong measurment and the HQ review later on .
Curtains that was too short or too long and one was torn ,sheers too wide for the windows.
After they come back weeks later ,again there was a wrong measurement.
Even the installers says this is not acceptable .
We called over and over again ,and hear the worth 'i'm so sorry ' countless .
Now end of Aug and still not ready ,even a reaction from HQ stays out .
We really regret to do business with them. Absolute never again and not recommend .

The Shade Store is Very Unprofessional
- Blinds get dirty, dusty, and wrangled.
- They hire anyone with no background checks; some employees take drug breaks.
- Exposed employee fired; not recommended.
From what I said the blinds get dirty wrangled and dusty that if your were to take it apart you would see what's behind some of them.They hire any and everyone no backgrounds checks on breaks I saw employees take drug breaks come back and touch the blinds. One employee pulled out his penis was fired I couldn't imagine him not washing his hands did research that same guy was in prison for same thing.
Notice while make Blinds saw workers sneezing coughing over them germs cover etc.
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Thank God for Tours

- Ordered 28 custom shades; 3 of 4 mis-measured, damaging ceilings and leaving no coverings; continuous loop is hard to maneuver, and wrong size.
Ordered custom shades 28 windows- promised high-end experience with this supposed luxury brand.1. My primary motorized sliders 4 double roller shades- installed 3 ruining my newly painted home to learn they were measured totally incorrectly- now I have damaged ceilings- no window coverings 2. Consultant talked me into continuous loop mechanism- failed to inform me that they are (a) hard to maneuver (b) Cannot raise or lower the without hitting the wall or the shade (c) ugly plastic tension device glued to wall 3.wrong size

Yes- we are dealing with similar issues. Customer Service is the worst.
We used them twice prior for roller shades and had them come back for drapers.
Had I know drapes were going to cause us so many issues- I would gone somewhere. Steer clear....
