[PERSON_NAME] acct #200000**** Member over 18 yrs I banked my May 16-23, 2025 week at [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA] Viceroy 1 in 2024. I should have had the right to use the 2400 points I received through the end of 2027 (2 yrs after my 2025 week).
When I tried to use the points to book a Jan 6-13, 2027 week in an Exec Suite at [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA], I was told I would have to pay to extend my membership to do so. I paid the one year extension at the time to get the week I needed for my guests. The representative was a 'newbie' and unfamiliar with The Registry Collection's past practices. The Registry Collection management team wants the week deposited as early as possible to have more time to place the week with one of their members, and the incentive to me is it gives me more time to use the points.
I just paid my 2027 maintenance fees for Viceroy! in [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA]. Why should I deposit the week before January 1, 2027, if it costs me a year of use later? I believe your rep erred in requiring the payment to book my 2027 week.
Please refund or credit me through 2028 the $269 (money) I was charged incorrectly.

- Prettyy good customer service in the past
- Bringing reps in who who are not versed in past practices
User's recommendation: If the rep is not experienced, hang up and keep calling until you find one that is.
