Missed Opportunity - Doesn’t Respond or Communicate

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We tried to submit an offer on a property listed through Jennifer Robertson and Realty Dot, almost immediately after it was listed that morning. Her first response was 48 hours later saying someone else had made an offer and that it was accepted.

If you choose to work with them dont expect a timely response, which in this real estate market makes all the difference. Sham of a company as some others have noted here.

Slow response

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

It has been over 2 days since we put an offer in & a day since the seller countered, and we have not been contacted with the offer. We have lost out on our 2nd choice home due to the delay & still dont know when we'll hear anything, as my realtor has attempted to reach SOMEONE...

ANYONE... for over 24 hours with no response.

Our house has sold, we have to be out, every day counts in this market. It is very upsetting & had we known it would take this long we would not have put an offer in through this broker.

FALSE FACTS

They went bt city info, beds bathrooms sq ft. Nothing was right.

We emailed the reaty dot the right information but they still went by what the city had on file, not our correct info. So that's why we never sold our house because of tbe beds and bathrooms our house was priced too high. Took 3 days for them to email an offer on our house.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. To make matters worse they can't get the pictures in thw right order even though you emailed them in the right order it took them a few months to gwt the pictures right

The Realty Dot is a GREAT SERVICE

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I could not be more happy with this company. I was referred to them from a fsbo company to list my house in Kansas.

From the onset they communicated with me in a professional and courteous manner. Their sign up process was very detailed (I provided the best info I could about my house and called and emailed a couple times for help). I had trouble uploading my photos so I called and they told me to email them. They listed my house after a couple days.

I reviewed the listing on Realtor.com and found a couple typos and emailed the realty dot and they replied and corrected the errors right away. It took a day for my photos to be added. Once I was listed I started receiving calls immediately. I had 7 showings in the first 3 days which I thought was really good.

I received an offer after a couple weeks and the realtor emailed it to The Realty Dot (which i guess is the rule in Kansas) and then Realty dot emailed it to me. I emailed and called realty dot with a couple questions. I spoke to Jennifer who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Realty Dot had to sign a couple places on the contract and they did so in a timely fashion.

My house sold and afer all was said and done I saved almost 12,000 from using a traditional realtor! I have been recommending this service to everyone!

My husband Ben has listed with Jennifer and so far we're pleased with her prompted service. She forwarded the contract, notice of schedules almost immediately.

For the price we paid, couldn't ask for more. We appreciate for their help.

Woderful job from The Realty Dot- MLSYourWay.com

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Thanks guys, wonderful job. Pictures and all other stuff were up in three days; showed the house 15 times in two days, sold on the fourth day. Jennifer responded to the buyer’s agent with signed documents, required disclosures and forwarded them immediately to me, and supplied the lead form promptly to me. There were no glitches or delays, and we executed the contract at 3 o’clock this afternoon. The house sold on the fourth day. We were hugely pleased. We would recommend The Realty Dot to anyone selling their home. We have no complaints, the service was just as described.

Tim, in Kansas City.

The Realty Dot Flat Fee Mls Listing Review from Bayamon, Bayamon

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I was extremely satisfied with this service. I felt compelled to write this review after I saw some other reviews.

I listed my house in Illinois. I submitted my paperwork online and my property was up on the mls and realtor.com and many more sites in 2 days. I emailed them a couple small changes and they were made immediately. Whenever I called my call was answered and my questions answered.

When I emailed I received a speedy reply. I emailed one price change and 2 open houses and they were both added to the mls within 2 days.

After a month I received an offer. The Realty Dot emailed me the offer right away and answered any questions and signed the papers electronically in a very fast timeframe.

Jennifersellshouses@***.com is either terrible at her job or a scammer.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Jennifer hardly communicates, can't get docs signed by her that must be signed in order for my Buyers to close on their house.... Sellers will be left out on the lurch as well.

The only number there is to reach her is a 1-877 number and you have to leave a message with an operator and Jenn does not get back to you. She does not use DOTLOOP eSignature program and in today's world if you don't use this internet program yet you are an internet company, that seems quite 'scammified'! She also does not have a direct cell number you can call and when she calls you back (rarely), it's a NO CALLER ID number.

Either they are pseudo-ok scammers or just a terrible company----another bad sign is they are not members of the BBB.... BUYERS BETTER BEWARE.

The Realty Dot & Jennifersellshouses@***.com --Very Unprofessional and unresponsive

I listed my home. The information I gave was entered wrong and after multiple attempts to get it corrected, I just had to accept that was a good as I was getting.

I have gotten many complaints from Realtors in my area saying they could never reach anyone and their phone calls were not returned. I have managed to get a buyer for my house and now I can't get them to sign the forms I need for closing. The only response I got was an excuse. I was told they were moving the office and didn't have a printer to print the doc to sign.

It has been 5 days and still no signed document and my closing has now been delayed. One reply said they would go to Office Max and get it done and they the next reply said they didn't have time. They won't return calls and never even sent me the yard sign.

Very unprofessional and next to impossible to contact. This service is a great idea but this company is the worst to deal with.

The documents were signed. The closing occurred.

There was no monetary loss. The signed document was signed electronically and emailed to the lender immediately. Then the lender notified us that they would not accept an electronic signature. This is highly unusual.

There was a delay with the wet signature because it was the weekend that our offices were moving and we didn't have immediate access to a fax machine. We signed asap and apologized for the delay and the property closed.

Guest

Realtors call the seller directly for showings. The sellers phone number is in the agent/showing remarks of the mls.

Documents are signed electronically immediately upon receipt. If a document needs to be wet signed it will take longer.

The Realty Dot (jennifersellshouses@***.com) Did Not Perform

Was matched to jennifersellshouses@***.com with The Realty Dot through forsalebyowner.com when we bought the MLS upgrade.

Nearly non-responsive. Took a week to list us on the local MLS (with errors). After over two weeks, we were not listed on realtor.com as promised within "a day or two". No response to our request for change or to correct errors. So, after paying and more than two weeks, our house is not even listed on all sites we contracted and has errors in the one in which it is listed.

Your house sale is worth too much money to waste on someone who has as little apparent value for your assets as does jennifer.

So, anonymous what you're saying is this home owner is lying?

Guest

New listings are added to the MLS within 1-3 business days from the time that the sign up process is completed. Realtor.com downloads all listings automatically from the MLS, normally within 1 day. All changes and corrections are emailed to the realty dot and then realty dot makes the changes/corrections within 24-48 hours.

Good at first...then I missed my closing

I used FSBO.com to be put in touch with them. However, I had numerous realtors tell me that had a hard time getting a hold of them to get my contact information.

And one even said that when they finally did pick up the phone, all the speaker did was argue with someone in the background.

BUT the worst part is that we called and emailed them for DAYS to get a letter of commission for closing but we STILL have been unable to track them down. So as of now, I STILL have been unable to close on my house.

The seller's contact information is given in the agent/showing remarks in the MLS. Agents will call the seller directly for showings.

The Realty Dot's toll free number is monitored 7 days a week from 9am-8pm.

Emails are returned even later. Title companies email or call the realty dot for commission letters and we email them the letter right away.

Mlsyourway.com~Very Unprofessional

mlsyourway.com (The Realty Dot) is extremely unprofessional. The service they are offering could be very good if they knew what they are doing.

Once we signed up they took our money immediately. We signed the contract, wrote our word for word house description, and attached 14 pictures and it literally took them 4 weeks to get it correct. They never returned phone calls or emails.

We didnt receive any calls in 2 months so we checked Realtor.com and we were shocked.

They took off all our pictures. We all know we skip over listings without pictuers. They failed to tell us they lost their showcase contract with Realtor.com so they took off all our pics and we had nothing. If we wouldnt have checked Realtor.com we would have never known.

They go on to tell us they moved us over to Zillow.com (which is not what we signed up for) and when we looked, our place was listed at $400,000 more than we were asking, no info, and only 1 picture of the front of our place. When explaining our frustration since day 1 and asking for a refund they denied it. We asked for it to be prorated for the time we had left and we would cancel and they said no. Now we are going to be forced to lose our $400, cancel, and sign up with another company which looks bad when you have your place listed.

I would recommend not using this company. They are awful.

Not all information and verbage is allowed in the MLS. Up to 25 photos are posted in the MLS and on Realtor.com and Zillow.com, as well as many other websites.

Phone calls and emails are answered promptly. Refunds are not provided after the service has been provided.

I am a current customer of The Realty Dot. I am extremely pleased with their service thus far.

My property was listed on the MLS quickly (1 day) and my photos were added the next day. I have emailed them 1 price change and 3 open house notices. The price change was made the same day and the open houses were added in 2 days.

I have received many showings from the listing and hope to have an offer soon. If I have any problems in the future I will re-post but so far I think the service is great.

Guest

I am not affiliated with MLS Your Way, other than being a former customer. I was very surprised to see all of the negative comments on here.

I listed with them in 2008, and their service was exactly as advertised.

My listing was up on the local MLS within a couple of days (including all my pictures), and all changes I requested were promptly processed as well. I am planning on listing another property with them soon - if I have any problems this time, I'll come back and re-post, but so far we have been very pleased.

Guest

Empty promises. They kept telling me that they were working on getting my listing on our local mls site.

Found out after requesting a refund that they couldn't even do it!

I felled lied to and cheated. Scammy company!,

Guest

And in response to their comment, that is their propaganda line. I have been listed with them since April and it has never worked as they claim above.

I just looked on their site, and it still has the original kitchen photos before I bought the stainless steel appliances, which I changed 3 months ago and the price still has not changed on realtor.com, or any of the other sites, just theirs. I wonder on all those listings that they claim sold, how many gave up and went to another listing company.

Very inflexible and treated me like I was asking for something above and beyond to make changes. I complained to Owners.com and continue to tell of my experience with them to anyone who asks.

Guest

I had a very similar experience. I tried to change pictures and it took nearly two months and a complaint to someone higher up to get them updated.

I've been trying to get the price changed for a month, sending emails every 2 to 3 days, but still no updated price. When I called, I was told they didn't really focus on updates, but only adding new listings. So you better like it the first time because it will be out there that way for months. The FSBO site I registered with that connected my MLS to them is offering me another six months with another MLS company at a discounted price.

Realty dot is a joke.

DO NOT USE! :(
