Created a hostile working environment.Lack of respect for seniors
I was coming to help a senior who resides at The Preserves in Pompano Beach FL. I placed my pick up truck in an area marked pick up/drop off and went to the front desk 75 ft.
away.The onsite relocation organizer said what are you doing?
I said I wanted to find out where to park my truck to pick up boxes for their resident.She said go park it in the parking lot 500 ft. away come back here then she'll tell me where to park.I said why don't you tell me now and I won't have to come back in here.With an elderly lady sitting in a wheel chair right next to "Dixie" and a lobby full of seniors ,Dixie loudly said " get your *** out there and park that little truck over there!!".This was not the first time she showed her lack of respect for the elderly.

Precisely,she has a nepoleon complex combined with low self estime.She's angry at life because once out of a position of power she becomes invisible to and even avoided by society.My senior who I was moving in to the preserve wanted 2 chairs placed in a back bedroom,and this lady was quite competent mentally.Dixie told my helper to put the chairs out on the patio,my guy complied.Later our customer told my helper"I told you to put the chairs in the beroom".My helper didn't say a word about Dixie but went and put the chairs where they oringinally were at.He was trained that in a stressful situation like moving to try and not to add stress to our seniors.That's why he didn't mention Dixie to her because this had been goin on all day with Dixie.
