AI Highlights
  • - Baker's Plumbing replaced my garbage disposal.
  • - The plumber didn't knock out the disposal valve.
  • - Baker's reimbursed me to fix the problem.

Baker's Plumbing replaced my garbage disposal and the plumber did not knock out the valve in the disposal. Therefore, I had to call in another plumber to fix my dishwasher. Since then, Baker's reimbursed me the money to fix the problem.

Ripped Off Avoid These People Like The Plague!

AI Highlights
  • - Billed about $7,000 for a simple toilet install.
  • - Faucets not fixed, water pressure dropped, and a dangerous tool left near the air conditioner.

If you value your wallet and your sanity, avoid Matt Hord and his group of thugs referring to themselves as professional plumbers. We needed a simple toilet installation, and had already purchased the toilet ahead of time, and we had a couple of leaky faucets in the bathroom.

After a hasty assessment, one of their employees told us we required a "complete overdo" that several pipes underneath our dwelling were rusted out and needed replacing. Long story short, we were hit with a whopping $7,000 bill. On top of which, they never even bothered to fix our leaking faucets in our bathroom, left standing water underneath our bathroom cabinet. The workers themselves displayed total disrespect for our property while on our premises.

They shouted curse words at each other and littered our outside yard. One worker left a dangerous cutting tool laying vertically across our new air conditioning unit. It was only moments from falling in, when we found it. If it had fallen in, we would have needed an entire new unit, we are certain.

Someone reduced our water pressure to the point that it is now, practically nonexistent. There isn't enough to shower, and not enough to send water out from the toilet, or wash the dishes. Also, someone left greasy fingerprints around our thermostat to our heating and air conditioning (and we still wonder why they were playing with that, since no electrical service was required)We have four handicapped cats that we had contained (for their convenience) in spacious three room, and six room carrier condos. These workers slammed doors continually and upset our animals immensely.

This was one of the worse plumbing experiences we have ever endured, especially being overcharged what we estimated to be about $5,000. Do yourself a favor and tell everyone about these unscrupulous people.

The only good thing I can say about this company is that they are "quick to arrive". Yes, they are "quick" to come and rip you off, disrespect your property, and you as customers.

Loss:
$4500
Pros:
  • Arrive on time and do weekends
Cons:
  • Fraudulent charges
  • Disrespectful workers
  • Damage to personal property

Preferred solution: We would like for this company, nor anyone associated with it, to NEVER come upon our property for any reason, shape, or form.

User's recommendation: RUN don't walk away from these people

1Stop Maintenance Does Not Pay Subcontractors

AI Highlights
  • - Plumbing for two Marshalls and one TJ Maxx billed NET30; ~12 months with no payment; reviewer alleges fraud and no response to attorney demand.

We were called by 1Stop Maintenance to provide plumbing services to two Marshalls and one TJ Maxx stores and promised payment at a NET30. It has been almost 12 months since we completed the services and invoiced 1Stop.

I have spoken to Monica and Wilson who both told me the checks were cut, but the owner Brett Finklestein is the only authorized signer at the company, which by the way has offices globally. This company is a fraud. They have not responded to my attorney's demand letter probably because they have a bunch of clowns working there.

It is disgraceful that they conduct business in this fashion. They are thieves.

Big Fat Guy Connection Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AI Highlights
  • - The reviewer accuses the owner of extortion and death threats.
  • - Do not do business with these people; they threaten family.

The company owner needs to be in jail. I highly recommend you don't speak to these people and even further more they have crossed the line with extortion and death threats.

Then rebuttled and claimed that they were kidding. Real funny they are the biggest fricking losers on the planet and lucky that they are not near by or I would beat the living *** out of him for threatening my family and for his tasteless vulgar personality. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! I DIDN'T AND THEY THREATEN!!!!

I will get these people and will see them end up in jail and will pursue all collateral damages if it is the last thing in my life I ever do.
