Fraudulent business practices

This company should not be allowed to do business. We first placed an order online and they charged our credit card. Then we received an email from Bridgette Kabar indicating that there was a mistake in pricing and that it was more expensive. Against my better judgement I accepted the increase in price. That right there should have been the red flag that should have told me to run far far away from these people. We received the saddle and right away noticed it did not fit our horse. We immediately contacted them the very same day and told them that the saddle would not fit and wanted to return it. Based on their return policy if you contact them within 3 days or receiving the saddle you can return it for a full refund minus shipping. We returned the saddle and never got our refund. We contacted them and after multiple contacts Bridgette finally responded and said that she was sorry she had a family emergency and would process the refund right away. When we finally got our refund we noticed it was 25% short. I immediately contacted them and got an email saying there is a 25% restocking charge. I told them this was not correct and that their website specifically said we would only be charged for shipping which is a lot less them 25% of the saddle. Since then they have ignored our emails and phone contacts. Very bad company to deal with DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! We intend to file a complaint with the BBB and DA's office as they should not be allowed to continue to steal from people. After searching the internet it became apparent that they have done this exact practice with many other customers.

Breyer Mystery Foal Surprise Review

Terrible customer service. I ordered a bunch of items and all but one was not even in stock, even though it said they were on the website. Then they said the would ship the item that was in stock and refund me. About 2 months later I get the item but not refund. Emailing them is terrible. Had to call and even then not very good customer service.

Company will not honor the refund policy

THE Original Horse Tack Company will not honor the refund policy stated in the description. (Contact them within 3 THREE days for full refund) The saddle did not fit and I contacted and got a return authorization within the 3 day time limit. Sent the saddle back and they refuse to give me the full refund. Saying I did not contact them within three days. I have called, emailed and gone back and forth with the company and they say I did not contact them correctly. Please BEWARE before doing business with this company. I followed the rules and they still refuse to honor the policy. Delivery date was Feb 13th, 2013 The policy from the website in part: Return PolicyIf you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the unused product within 30 days (we must be notified 3 days after receipt if you wish to exchange or return a saddle) of receipt (as indicated by UPS) for an exchange or refund of the purchase price of the merchandise.

Wouldn't honor mistake in pricing

I'd had my eye on a pair of riding boots on Amazon that I liked, so when I saw that the price had dropped on them, I jumped on and purchased them with the Amazon one-click ordering. A few days later I received an email confirmation from the company for my purchase of reins. I emailed them and informed them of the mistake and even sent along a screen shot of the boots for the price I paid for them on Amazon. They said that there had been a mistake, and there was no way they would sell me the boots for the price I paid for them -- that there had been a mistake in the Amazon shopping link and that they would just refund me the money. And that I could RE-purchase the boots for their normal price -- which has now been changed to be more than 3x's what I originally paid. Super annoyed that they won't own up to their mistake and honor their (incorrect) pricing.

Lame, like a horse

this company is joke, i ordered enchantmints jewellery boxes, lunch boxes and breyer horses on october 19/11. on november 14 i e-mailed to find out where is my order. In fact i e-mailed 3 times with no response. in the meantime,my credit card was charged. i live in Canada so the 800 number didnt work. I called 411 and they found the owners pesonal number and called and boy she was not happy. long story short, they canceled my order b/c some of the order could not be filled. they said they tried to refund my credit card 3 times but it was rejected. but they never thought to call me, my order had my tel # on it. they were not interested in my business could care less and it was obvious in their attitude. i would not recommend this VERY unprofessional outfit. they are a joke.

The Original Horse Tack Company - No product shipped!

I would NEVER do business with this company again. October 4: ordered rain sheet through Amazon. Never even shipped or said why the delay. Emailed company THREE times with NO response. Oct. 16 filed claim through Amazon. Oct 17, got an email from the company saying it would arrive Wed. Ok, filing claim worked. Then, less than 2 hrs later got email saying that they cancelled the order. Hmmm.... must be they do not want a neg review. Yep.... I will neg review them EVERYWHERE I can. What a scuzzy customer service ethic they have. Finally they say they would not ship with an outstanding A-Z, but for me to rescind the A-Z I have to tell Amazon that I received the sheet. Um, no way! I am not ***, just frugal.

Exceptionally poor service and results

I ordered equine supplies from The Original Horse Tack Company, www.tohtc.com, and www.theoriginalhorsetackcompany.com. I've ordered from many online companies, but this was BY FAR the WORST service I've ever received. First they sent the wrong horse blanket. Then they said they would send a substitute, as the one I ordered was, they said, no longer being made. They promised a different brand of equal quality. Weeks went by. NO blanket. Next, after another call, they said that one wasn't available. Then they sent another one, inferior to the one I originally ordered. In addition I needed to exchange a girth that was the wrong size. The second one didn't work either, as the keepers were too short. In the end, after returning that one, they only agreed to credit back less than half the cost, because it had horse hair on it! And I only got that much because I called again, as my email went unanswered. I would never order anything from this company again.
