AI Highlights
  • Billing is confusing; payments posted on CC, then billed as $20 visits.
  • The statements lack detail on how payments are applied, causing stress.

Your billing system is a nightmare! I've been receiving care at WEXNER and the wound center on the east side.

Every time I visit the wound clinic I pay by CC. It is posted on my CC statement that same day, I receive a bill for 3 wound clinic visits as owing $ 20.00 each for Oct, Nov & Dec for which I have receipts.

When I contacted billing the explanation is that the payments were applied to another bill from Wexner that I have not yet paid or the charges are still under "investigation",

The statements provide no information as to that $$ WAS applied.

As a previous business owner for some 20 years my statements to my customer would include current information as where their payment was being applied.

The same was true from my suppliers in there billing to me.

My wife and I have had substantial medical expenses during 2023,24 and now into 25. The last thing I need is the stress of attempting to shuffle through tons of receipts and CC statements in order to find that a $20 payment for a wound visit in Nov was actually credited to a XRAY treatment in the previous June.
