The Lodge of New Tampa
After many years using the lodge, I never realized what or how they treated my pups, as well as a confrontation with Dr. Judson on a grooming appointment along with his daughter Kathryn along with being just arrogant, they criticized how I cared for my pup, when the mother, Carla was unable to show up for a grooming appointment, due to her animal being sick, I asked for someone else as I was just a few minutes away, I was told off by the owner, the grooming was done later, but my three dogs, came home one who was older walked in, he was fine, but when I picked him up, he could not stand or walk, he literally had to be carried to the car, this dog had walked that morning, played the night before, they said nothing, when I called later, their response was " well my mother is no longer going to groom them" no I am sorry, or what can we do, nothing.
Later that night the pup the love of my life had to be put down. I let them know, they said, Oh, after all those years, no sympathy, nothing.
I do not recommend the lodge awful, the people are mean and uncaring.

Preferred solution: refund my boarding expense, refund my vet bills, and apologize for your poor customer service.
Very Unhappy with the Vet named Kenneth Judson
Yesterday I took my 9 month puppy there to play with the other dogs and it wasn't his first time going there he loved going there. Well when I picked my puppy up after a half day of doggie day care when he came out he ran and jumped into my arms and than ran to the front door to leave and he Never has done that before.
So when we got home I went to pet him and he started crying and even went to nip at my hand because back side was hurting and I didn't know that until than. So I called and asked the girl what happened while Gabe my puppy was there and she says oh he had a great day but the was this full grown dog that kept humping him and I asked her did he penetrate my puppy she said no and after he kept doing it to my puppy she said they separated them because Gabe was getting annoyed with the dog. So I called to talk to the owner/Vet Kenneth Judson and he was a *** and very rude. So I asked him why would you let this dog keep coming there if he does this all the time to the dogs there and his response was he is a good customer!!!!!
Wow I was in disbelief to hear a Vet say that, so that just shows me he doesn't care about any of the dogs there unless you were a good customer. I also asked him why wasn't I informed about what this dog did to my puppy and his response was most people don't care about their dogs being humped and I said he is only 9months old and once again he said well he is pretty much grown than.
Really a puppy isn't fully grown at 9months and I am not a Vet but everyone knows that!!!!
Please Don't Take your animals there, the Vet Doesn't Care!!
I am taking my puppy to his vet today to get checked out and so help them if he is hurt from this dog and The Lodge for not taking care and a eye on my puppy!!!!!!!!

Tampa FL--Incompetent owner and staff
My white boxer was severely abused and I am very careful to make sure he is a no contact with other dogs when he is boarded. I was very clear with the staff in Tampa FL, the dog should not interact with other dogs.
First thing the owner did personally was to place the boxer in a room with five other No Contact dogs so all of them were going crazy. When I asked her what she was doing putting the boxer with other dogs--her answer was to get the dogs and leave. Since I was three hours from leaving on a plane the owners stunt cost me a $1500 place ticket and my job.
I was not amused. Her lack of understanding that no contact dogs should remain away from the rest of the pack.
Way too much money....not customer friendly.....
Rude owner..and staff...Charges for your own food....if you bring you own in...did not feed my dog dinner last time

My experience with Dr. Kenneth Judson, DVM has been both pleasant and positive.
