My husband and i rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment at the lodge for quite a hefty amount of money with a 300 deposit for a 6 month period due to the fact that we sold our home and we flip homes and were in the interim of purchasing a new home. Upon our arriving to check out the apartment with the assist Manager Becky she showed us around and stated the carpets were a bit wet due to a new shampoo. She also mentioned that the apartment itself or the building had been worked on due to foundation issues. We did not think the apartment looked that good including the paint job throuhout the apts. Who ever they contracted out did a horrible job cause they even painted over the wood floors. The bathroom were poorly done as well. We had to move in a matter of 6-days cause our home was sold. When the 6 months were up we gave our notice and we said does anyone need to do a walk through they replied they did not have a manager on duty, therefore i cleaned it out thoroughly. Everything on their list was done. We vacated and then we received a huge statement of over 1300 for pet deposit, carpet replacements. painting, toilet cleaning, disposal stuff in it . calking around tub. holes in the walls. etc etc. Awful stuff that was not true. I have tried to work with the Lodge and they are absolutely wrong on all accusation. I want our $300.00 and our credit perfect the way it was. If you read all of the previous reviews they seem to do this all the time. Well we are senior citizens with handicap issues and we will not tolerate these lies. Please don't ever move to these awful apartments. Save your money . There are other better, nicer apts with a better staff.

WORST MOVE OUT EXPERIENCE EVER

Worst experience ever in any Apartments we have ever lived. We only had a 6 month lease which should have been a very smooth transition and move out as well. Upon us leaving the apartments I called the office to ask about the move out procedure and was given a list of items to clean. We followed and list to the t and did everything on the list and more. I asked the office spoke with Cynthia at the office if we could get someone to check out the apartment to make sure everything was done to their expectation. She advised they did not have the man-power therefore advised if you did everything on the list, its good. I paid my final apartment bill pro-rated and turned in my keys and our 2 remotes. I called 2 weeks later to ask about our $300.00 deposit and they said that I would hear around the 30th of July. I later received a final charges on my apt which were 1,000 plus. We were in shock, they charged us for everything that they would do to get an apt ready for a new tenant. We were charged 385.00 to paint the entire apt. $300.00 for a pet deposit that we never owned a dog or cat for that matter . They replaced the carpet and charged us for that as well . Flea and exterminator charges of $100.00 plus a $95.00 cleaning fee. The apartments was spotless and they know that. We will not be scammed by this company. We are not stupid and we will not pay these outrageous fees for things that we did not do, Be ware when you move out of these apts. be ready to pay these erronneous bills which are false. IF YOU LOOK AT ALL OF THEIR NEGATIVE REVIEWS THEY ALL SAY THE SAME ON THE MOVE OUT. MANAGEMENT IS VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL AND THEY NEED PROPER TRAINING. TYRA LINDQUIST SAYS SHE IS THE MAIN MANAGER AND SHE IS NOT SHE IS A COLLETION CLERK TO COLLECT MORE MONEY FOR THIS DISGRACEFUL AND DECEITFUL COMPANY . PLEASE LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE DONT MOVE HERE OR YOU WILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUES AS THE REST OF US.
