Have waited almost 6 months for hat. Still don’t have it??
Quick to take your money but very slow to get you your hat. Six months and still no hat. They always have an excuse but no satisfaction on my end.

I purchased a hat that arrived too small. I was told to wear it to see if it broke in.
It still hurt to wear after wearing it several times. I had to pay to ship it back. Then was told to pay a $135 fee to clean the hat before they would reshape it. Sent it back and it was still too smal.
I purchased two other hats during this time in the size I told them and they both fit perfect. After sending it back yo resize twice, paying for both shipping costs($70), $135 cleaning fee and $850 for the hat, I am told no refund is available.

Very dissatisfied with my purchase.
I bought a Yellowstone Kelly hat from these people $850. The hat body arrived barely sanded, the stitching on the edge binding was uneven. Sent the hat back and still could not get it correct .

could you please send me some pictures of my hat after it formed....i would like to make sure it is shaped as i want.
this could save dissatisfaction when it actually arrives.... not that i am real picky but i know what i am expecting.
miller hats did this for me and there were some changes i asked for after seeing the pics that they were able to accommodate.

Hi xx we do not have the resources to be able to offer that service.
If this is something you require than perhaps it would be best if you took your project to Miller hats, in which case we will cheerfully refund your order.
We have your very detailed instructions for your hat, and we will do our best to follow them.
However, we do expect our clients to make slight adjustments to their hat (if required) for personal taste.
If the brim needs to be a little higher, or the crease on the crown a little deeper, than plug in your steam iron and do it, with the instructions that come with your hat.
Thats the beauty of beaver fur-felt it can be adjusted with just a decent steam iron, over and over again by anyone with a bit of patience and a mirror. Many of our clients do this and enjoy bonding with their hat in this manner.
Your hat is in this production run, so please advise us within a day if you wish to cancel your order.

Hyper Sensativity Alert
While this company MAY have quality in materials and product, the staff, especially management, are arrogant and defensive in dealings with customers. Be prepared for the most basic mistakes like wrong shipping addresses and other such errors and be careful when you call them on it because then they will Blacklist you.
Their attitude is that you work for them and not the other way around. They are not your vendor, they are your boss.
As a Purchasing Agent, I cannot recommend doing business with this company. I am not "pissed", just surprised.

I opened the box took out the hat and almost threw up
Two mounts ago I ordered the Justified Hat from the TV series I communicated with them three time before ordering the hat and order per thier instuctions they got everthing wrong but the hat ban they say they'll work with you too fix any proplems they wont out 500.00 dollars don deal with these poeple not reputable
Hat also came with what looks like little oil stains all over it.
In every email I wrote Justified Hat as seen in the TV series
The hat is the wrong Color the brim is shaped wrong and the top of the hat has the wrong shape I've shown the hat to people that are familiar with the series and they can't believe the got it so wrong I'd like my money back because I don't believe they can do the job

Very poor Craftsmanship at the Last Best West
Do not purchase a hat from these folks. The Hatter by the name of Longfellow is very unskilled at his profession.
I bought a custom hat ($400) from them and it was so poorly done I had to take it to someone else to make it even wearable. His abilities were poor and attention to detail and quality were absolute the worst anyone has ever see. These are comments from other hatters I took my hat to to have it fixed. Hat was crooked, undersized and cut incorrectly.
What a huge disappointment.
Buyer beware, you can do much better from just about anyone.

The Last Best West hat company did take the hat back and chose not to fix the bound edge. There completely incompetent.
Hi everyone - this is The Last Best West. Just to add to this post: We have WONDERFUL customers.
But every 10 or 12 years we get a customer who is rude and demanding and cannot be satisfied. We had Mr. Melancon send back his hat and paid for the shipping. We were always responsive and tweaked the hat and got it back to him in a timely manner.
In one spot on the bound edge the stitching is not perfectly straight as he shows in his picture. We would have been happy to re-do that stitching (we want our customers to LOVE our hats) but instead Mr.
Melancon makes this comment: "The folks making hats for y’all are retards." We have hundreds and hundreds of (REALLY) satisfied customers. This customer was quite the opposite and I think his comments pretty much sum up the type of individual we are dealing with here.
The last best west are dishonest and will not reply back to emails requesting the hat be fix . I’m simply asking to get what I paid for . Stay away from this dishonest Canadian company.
The last Best West here again Brandon Melancon. We are not dishonest and please note that we refunded the cost of the bound edge to you so that you can have someone stitch it on for you under your direct supervision. We believe that is the only way you will be satisfied (if ever).
