The Kooples

I want to tell a story that happened at this shop today (March 16th 2024) and I don't recommend anyone going there. My mother has just found out that she was cancer free and came to Paris to spend a few days.

She is the most positive and nice human being you'd ever meet. She came to Kooples which she loves so much. The saleswoman was extremely rude to her. My mom was trying on a few things and kept trying to close the scar left from the illness with her headscarf.

The saleswoman was making rude comments. My mom asked this saleswoman to bring her size 0, as my mom is XS and always wears 0 (she is tiny). The saleswoman asked "you think it will fit you? you think you are so small?".

She didn't want to bring it and she didn't in the end. She said "you can just come again tomorrow, I don't think it will be hard for you". My mother said "Okay, I will come". When she was exiting, the woman blocked her way and said "You'd better be positive".

And my mother just replied that she is always nice. My mom came out and called me almost crying. I must also add she spoke French to this horrible woman. And switched to English, as that one wasn't happy.

I ask the managers to take action against this woman.

No one has to go through this experience especially after a lasting illness and going through such hardship. The store was empty and my mom was the only customer there.
