Like the shkw

It isn't Katie that needs the manners, it's Sunny, she grabs everything like she is starved. I wish Jeff would tone it down, he seems to want all of the attention, I like to watch the show but Jeff is a bit too much

Do not use the kitchen helpers!!!

I recently used the Kitchen Helpers to design my kitchen. I was so excited to hear about this service because designing a kitchen on my own seemed very overwhelming. Well...that was my first mistake.

The experience went well until I realized that the designer (Heather) measured the kitchen incorrectly. This turned into a MAJOR MISTAKE!!! I had purchased all of the kitchen cabinets through Ikea and they were on their way to be delivered to my house. When we noticed this mistake, we went to Ikea to try to rectify the issue. Originally we went straight up to the Kitchen Helpers desk within Ikea and they said that they could schedule us in the following week...yeah, no thank you. Then we went up to the Ikea employed kitchen staff and Alison saved our life (she's amazing)!

Alison told us that the Kitchen Helpers did us an incredible disservice and in turn, cost us approximately 10 hours of our time (having to re-design the kitchen, inventory incorrect product and return the product), in addition to an additional delivery fee ($59). Alison spent 5 hours with us working on this project, which she said was "the most complicated revision she has ever completed".

Following this debacle, I contacted the Kitchen Helpers (who do not live up to their name) to ask for a refund to my $199 service fee. It would be the least that they could do. They did not respond. So I emailed them again. I received this response from Jennifer Berry:

------------------------------

Hello,

I have reviewed your file and all paperwork. I have also been able to talk with Heather. I wanted to let you know that after looking into everything, I will not be issuing you a refund.

Respectfully,

Jen Berry

The Kitchen Helpers

------------------------------

Wow! Well thank you Jennifer for being so helpful!

I replied and asked her why she came to this decision and I'm still waiting for a response.

It's safe to say that I would NEVER recommend the Kitchen Helpers to my worst enemy. Remodeling a home is stressful enough and using them just adds to your stress.

The Kitchen Helpers-Portland--TERRIBLE

The Kitchen Helpers in Portland installed our kitchen from Ikea. They did a TERRIBLE JOB, the installation had to be revised multiple times, they even used supplies from our contractor.

My husband complained several times through the process, was also told wrong information like parts were missing from Ikea, was made to drive out to Ikea to get the parts, only to find out that the installers had messed up with all of the correct parts.

I then spoke with the manager who was rude, unprofessional, unhelpful and downright nasty.

Such an unprofessional company--both in the installation service and the customer service they provide. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
