Top Notch Quality

I had to wait a lonnngg time for my jacket. Like 10 weeks.

And I asked about it a few times. I got some pretty snarky comments at one point. Apparently it says that it takes 8-10 weeks for delivery, but I didn't see that. Anyway, at the end of the day, I don't really care, cause this jacket is LEGIT.

Its a WW1 German leather pilot jacket. I've ordered a bunch of leather jackets online because its so dang hard to find good ones in person. I've had to return almost all of them because they were crap, either flimsy as *** or poor cuts of leather. Anyway, this jacket is super thick, and heavy.

Its gotta way like 5 pound (dont quote me, im sure you can look that up) It is a lilfe time jacket. Like, you will have this for your whole life wearing it every day. My only complaint is that it has a belt that you can tighten around your waste. I wish it had loops to put the belts through (although the belts, they are, in fact removable which is coo), the reason being that if you don't buckle the belt, it hangs from really far back, which is kinda funny looking.

But whatever.

Its *** My only other advice is to get it custom cut. You'll be happier.

I recently purchased a leather overcoat, Im a big guy so needed this to be made to my sizes. The delivery was a little slow but the product more than made up for this.

Says in stock,takes orders then hour problem starts.emails and phone calls means a lot of wasted time.get a refund after weeks but then wants bad ebay feedback removed on the promise of a delivery which did arrive but not what I wanted.i asked when website said stock avail again just to be ignored .I would def avoid.

With regards the below review, we are always happy to hold our hands up and admit it when we don't get things right. The initial cap sent was indeed incorrect and the correct one was duly dispatched, the boots did take a long time to manufacture and when the customer asked for a refund this was immediately processed (a thank you email was duly received from the customer). However, there are a number of issues and serious inaccuracies in the review.

1. The amount refunded was in fact £94, not $96, as we are a British company we deal in GBP not USD. £94 was the price the customer paid for the boots and thus was the sum refunded. This figure was explained to the customer, who accepted this.

2. The customer implies that we refunded the payment on the proviso that the initial, incorrect, cap was returned, this was not the case, the refund was processed immediately with no quibble. The customer also implies that we did not give them chance to return the cap before charging, again, this is not the case, the customer was emailed 3 times over a period of one month asking for the return of the cap, neither the cap nor any acknowledgement of any email was received, leaving us little choice but to charge for the cap.

3. With regards the timing of the charge, this is out of our hands and down to bank or credit card processing times, no company has direct access to an individuals account, all transactions take 24 to 48 hours, we assume the early morning transaction time was due to the time difference between the UK and US.

4. With regards theft or fraud, if the customer felt this was the situation then it would have been advisable to contact their bank or credit card company , they would have placed a chargeback on the transaction, flagging it as not authorised and returning the money to the customer. As the customer failed to do this we can only assume that they felt that there was not an issue and that the cap had to be paid for.

5. With regards the quality of our items, the customer received an initial (incorrect) cap from us, then a second, correct, cap, at no point did the customer state they were unhappy with the quality, in fact they went on to place a second order. If the initial items received were of a poor standard it would seem ill advised to place a second order for more goods.

So, to recap, we apologise to the customer for the incorrect cap and long delay for the (refunded) boots, but feel we have acted in an appropriate manner throughout and should the customer wish to contact us regarding the charge then we will be more than happy to discuss

Uniforms

I bought 5 german WW1 and WW2 uniforms from The History Bunker in the last months, and I'm very pleased with the quality (the best I have seen in the market, very well done work and great quality cloth).

Service was always good, Mark answer all email in the same day and he take care kindly of every question or problem fast. When I had a small problem with the measurement of one tunic, they solve the problem. I waited a month for each uniform (tailor made), but It was worth!

Shipment is fast and items arrived safely and well protected.

So, I would recommend their uniforms to every reenactor/collector who want to buy a real quality uniform. Five stars company

I ordered a Generals cap. First they send the wrong one.

So that's fine, I realized they made a mistake. So they send me a message saying keep the cap we sent, that we'll send you the right one for free. So I recieve it. Then I ordered a pair of jackboots for over $150.

I waited 7 months for them to come in, they never did. I said I wanted a refund. He refunded only $96 out of $150 then tells me to return the non correct hat that he earlier told me to keep!! So before I get a chance to return the hat he takes $93 out of my bank account at 1:22 a.m!!!!!

This guy is a ***!!! Never by from this company!! They will steal your money and not refund all the money!

And not only that!... But their items are pretty ***!

Wrong measurements and not complete piece

I bought an overcoat from the history bunker, from UK, on their web, a tailor made one, but i received a piece with wrong measures and without belt, and with some parts i asked them to *** (so, it was not a tailor made piece, obvious) i emailed them and they said it was my fault, (how can it be?? i know my measures, its absurd) so they wanted me to pay return cost, when it was clearly a mistake of the company, so i refused to pay it and they said they would send the belt, what i did not received.

They only offered a little partial refund. Awful

reply from the History Bunker - We made the coat to the customers specification despite great difficulty in understanding the customers requests. In order to resolve the situation we refunded a third of the cost (this offer was accepted by the customer and duly refunded) in order that the customer could have alterations made locally. With regards the belt, the customer complained that no belt was received, one was duly shipped, customer complained again that no belt was received only this time became verbally abusive, a second belt was despatched.

All in all we fulfilled our obligation to this customer and went above and beyond what would be normally expected, despite being the subject of verbal abuse.
