The 30 per cent interest rate I was charged 2999 for an Inogen portable oxygen tank and I just found out I will have paid 6999 when I am through paying fo it I know I have to pay interest but is this

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My husband needed a portable oxygen and went through Inogen to get one it cost 2999 and we knew we would have to pay interest in a few days we received the healthcard in the mail and told they were financing the oxygen tank today almost two years after buying the tank we were told that the interest was 30 percent and when we finish paying in 3 years we will have paid double what the tank cost

We applied and got approved to purchase an Inogen portable oxygen concentrator for my wife. The total cost with batteries came to $3400.

After 2 years of $70.00 per month payments we still owe $3000 and they say we were given a financial hardships discounted interest rate. Wow, lucky for us!

Just wanted to add that we have paid $1000 in interest already in 2 years. We still have 6 years of loan left, according to them.

That's $3000 more in interest.

That's $600 more in interest than the price of the unit we purchased. I think a little good faith in negotiating a restructured debt settlement with us would be reasonable.

Beware of payments through their website posting on time...

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We used Help Card to finance a sleep number bed. I timed out the payments so that I would have it paid off before the 12 month interest free period ended.

So it gets down to the last month (November) and the 12 month period ends on November 23rd. I logged on to their website and scheduled the final ACH payment on the November 15th. But, for some reason, their system did not draft my account to process the payment on the 15th like it was scheduled to.

So, on Monday November 26th, I get an email saying my Help Card statement is ready to view online. My curiosity peaks because I think I paid it off 11 days ago.

I logged on to the website and checked my account. They added $1243.00 in deferred interest and about $30.00 in late fees on Friday November 23rd, and then processed my payment out of my account on Monday November 26th!

I call their customer service phone number and ask what's going on. The customer service rep says that she sees there was activity on my account on November 15th, but she can't tell what it was. And that she sees that my payment was posted to the account on November 26th which was after the November 23rd due date. And she proceeds to tell me that my account is paid current and is not late, so I have nothing to be concerned about.

Really??? You are charging me over $1300.00 for a payment that I scheduled on time, and you think I have nothing to be concerned about?

She explains that the processing was probably delayed due to the Thanksgiving holiday and that is probably why my bank account did not release the funds to them on time. I said, wait a minute, you are saying it is my banks fault? ACH payments are processed automatically and my bank is a huge well known bank. They would not "delay" funding an ACH payment a week before a holiday when there are plenty of funds available to cover the payment!

Then she says, there is wording on the payment page that I agreed to when I scheduled the payment on their website that says they "are not responsible for delays in payments posting due to errors with their website".

Wow! There's the loophole! They postponed the ACH payment withdrawal from my account by 11 days so that they could charge me for the deferred interest and a late fee, and they say it's MY fault because their system didn't process my payment when I told them to????? Wtf

How come it worked perfectly on the first 11 monthly payments on the exact date I schedule it, and then on the 12th month, the payment mysteriously gets delayed and processed one day after the due date because I scheduled the payment a week before a holiday? What a scam!

THE HELP CARD AND VIVE DO NOT DESERVE 3 STARS ... MORE LIKE "NO STARS". i'm SURE IF I DO ENOUGH RESEARCH I CAN FIND A LOOPHOLE TO PROVE FRAUDULENT CHARGES TO INDIVIDUALS ACCOUNTS.

The Helpcard - Credit Card Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I made a $300 payment because i need to have this card paid off by june to avoid interest. they sent me a statement on April 7 for $38 i called to ask why and was told they applied the payment i made in April to march this is after i made a payment of 196.71 in March when my payment due was only for $78 they state that i paid outside my allowed payment window that the i need to wait until 4/5 to make my payment.

If you are getting paid before the billing date which is April 28 how do you penalize me by wanting more money on top of the already adfitional $222. Don't get this card they have *** policies and they don't tell you this upfront not till you get a statement.

HC Processing are crooks. They do not send invoices and will tack on a 28.99 interest rate after a year.

I felt like I was robbed as I went over the year. Please report these people to BBB!
