The Harrison scammed many

It is not my intention to smear The Harrison and they somewhat did come up with a solution, however I felt that potential tenants still need to be warned of what kind of a company they'd be dealing with.

After being with The Harrison for several years, I was ready to find another apartment but was lured into renewing my lease for another year under false pretenses. After renewing, they wanted to move me to a different building but first made me move out for weeks so they could "provide" what my lease promised. After that time passed and at the start date of my lease, my new apartment still lacked everything promised and it remained that way for half a year. I know I'm not the only one who was treated this way because you only need to do minimal research on The Harrison to find how many others were treated the same.

Because of that reason, I never picked up the key to the new building and decided to stay at a friend's house since their "promises" was the only reason I renewed. In other words, I never had any of my belongs at that building.

I paid full rent regardless for half a year while not living there. When asked if they'd be humane enough to let me out of my lease early since they had evidence that I never picked up the key to the apartment I never set a foot at, they denied. After emailing several managers, the CEO, etc. and wasting tremendous amounts of time, a manager finally reached out and let me out of my lease but only with a big fee. I paid and got out.

While I appreciate that she reached out and attempted to provide a solution, I'm disappointed I wasted over $3,220 for an apartment I never even touched. I also wanted to warn that although a manager tried to solve my issue, this company is still not trustworthy. You want a company who you can trust.
