financially the matter was resolved quickly - on a one off basis - so if I buy extra tickets by mistake in futureI will not get a refund.I buy tickets from various organisations on line and in my opinion the guardian events booking is the electronic equivalent of Granville's till (just watch open all hours maybe on you tube).
they have responded and refunded me one ticket and sent me *** a good outcome. However, I don't think they are doing themselves any favours with customers wondering for a day or two if they have actually got the ticket/s , the not being able to add to the apple wallet, and their normal no refund policy is not friendly - eg if you buy the ticket by mistake and ask for a refund very soon afterwards and the event is more than a week away they should refund.they have said my refund was exceptional which makes me less likely to book anything else, which is a shame.
yes I have looked in my spam folder.
great newspaper shame they are useless at doing anything outside journalism / publishing.
- Great explanation analysis of current events unbiased
- Event booking is useless
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered
User's recommendation: don't book to attend any events
