Do not trust their assessment on your loved ones if they need more than occasional assistance in day to day activities! Michael came out to our mother's home for assessment. Even though she could not get up from her chair, he assured the family that she would get all the care needed to make a transition from home care to assisted care at The Grove in Riverside. Instead, she was ignored most of the time, or put to bed during the afternoon so that they did not have to deal with her. On most of our visits with her, when the help button was activated, it took between 1 and 2 hours for someone to show up! By then she had already defecated in her clothing and bed. She was not getting her medications at the scheduled time. Just an observation, the staff to patient ratio is obviously the bare minimum. Considering what they charge, we expected better care for our mother. We moved her out of the facility this weekend. Very unhappy!
