They write articles that they have limited knowledge on
Mike Murray wrote an article about Xeon computer processors. I don't like it when people are ignorant on a product yet try to talk like they know what's going on.
I'm not the first person that called him out on his lack of knowledge. I asked him to make corrections in his article because he has limited knowledge about what he was talking about. On one count he tried to defend his article while at the same time acknowledging I was correct! The other item he simply defended without researching it to realize he was wrong.
One more example that shows does a poor job at actually researching a product is where he stated "my article was written before Xeon had integrated graphics".
That's a farce. Xeon had integrated graphics years before his article.
TheGeekPub Rules
I recently bought some plans from TheGeekPub. There is a negative review on here from a scammer in Poland.
I can assure you that review is 100% falkse. TheGeekPub's plans are some of the best I have seen, especially for the price. When you order you do not get a big pile of stolen plans (as the scammer said), rather you get exactly the plan you ordered.
There is a detailed video and article on thegeekpub website that walks you through building the product for whichever plan you ordered. Go Mike and thank you so much for all of the hard work you do to make these plans!

GeekPub is great, but under attack by scammers
I've personally done business with TheGeekPub. The owner, Mike, is great.
However, he posted an article about a scam organization known as "Woodprix" and now those guys are angry and posting fake reviews of the GeekPub around the internet. So just beware any negative reviews you see.
The irony is, their fake reviews say that TheGeekPub is the one selling stolen plans, which is totally false. WoodPrix is the one selling stolen plans, including ones stolen from TheGeekPub and many other woodworking channels.
It's pretty obvious this is the case being that Mike actually does full-fledged videos on youtube of his designs and how he created them. So there is little point in questioning the legitimacy of what is sold there.
Site being targetted by fake reviews
The Geek Pub is being targeted by false reviews from Woodprix, which is a scam site. They are retaliating against The Geek Pub for an article they wrote exposing the scam.
Pissed Consumer does not remove false reviews without a court order and smaller companies cannot afford to pay this. Remember when you're reading online reviews that many of them are paid and false, much like the SPAM that the woodprix guy puts all over the comments sections of website.
The Geek Pub is an honest and reputable website and youtube channel, along with many others like Woodgears, Woodworking for Mere Mortals, Nick Ferry, and others.
TheGeekPub scammed me
I bought woodworking plans from an online retailer called TheGeekPub.What I received was a bunch of stolen plans!
Plans they downloaded from reputable websites and then bundled without permission into a huge spiderweb of a mess zip file. Don't buy from them! Even if the plans had turned out to be legit, many of them are missing some of the most important parts.
I am really scared because these guys have my credit card information too!
I mean if they are willing to steal from these woodworking sites, why would they not be willing to steal from me?!I have cancelled my credit card and trying to do a chargeback against them!

Great Website and Service
The Geek Pub recently published an article about the scammers over at woodprix. These guys, located in a foreign country are operating like a mafia and posting fake articles and comments about The Geek Pub in retaliation for their review and write up on the woodprix scam.
The Geek Pub website and youtube channel obviously stand on their own, so there's not much to say here other than pointing out that Pissed Consumer does not check or validate these reviews, as such woodprix is free to scam away with no recourse.
The Geek Pub is firm in its resolve to keep the woodprix scam review up, no matter how many negative articles they write.
