The Freida Collection

This is my story. A few months back my husband and I saw an artist painting live at Fish Thyme. It's a fine dining restaurant in our area of Acworth. We approached the artist and asked her to paint for my daughters, who's also an artist, 8th grade graduation party. It was to be surprise. This was on March 1st. I paid my deposit to her on March 12th. I reached our to Paige Summers on Thursday, May 20th to establish contact and confirm our agreement which was to pay a portion of my balance to her on the 24th and then full payment the day of. This is where it got crazy. On the 24th, I recieved a Cashapp request from her for full payment. I responded, in text that I'm happy to pay her the amount stipulated in the contract, but I wouldn't pay in full until the day of the event. She did not respond to my text. Then, the next day she sent a text message sighting that my Paint Life session has been canceled. I then called Ms. Summers. She told me that since I didn't pay her (in full) I violated our contract and that the only way to reinstate it was to again, pay in full. I kept trying to explain how this made no sense and said she 'couldn't hear me' and hung up. After that, I tried calling- no answer. And sent multiple text messages. Her only response, and she only responded once, was that her 'business manager' would contact me to reinstate the event. I didn't hear from this said 'business manager' until this Wednesday, May 29th. Just two days before my daughter's event. It was a random number from Illinois. The guy was obviously a friend, who by the way assured me I'd get a refund of my deposit the next day and of course, I never received it and now they both are ignoring me. I'd like people to know that this woman is working in our area and doing these things to people. The good thing about her not calling me back is that I have a paper trail of her misdealings. Anyone posting that she is upright, is obviously a friend, just like her phony business manager was. And birds of a feather flock together. Liars. Scammers. You deserve what comes to you.
