NEVER pay this group with a credit or debit card. If you do you will be billed for all sorts of things you did not want.
Always pay by CHECK only. Then, you have some control. They send books I do not want, bill me, I contest the bills with my credit card company and the charges are ultimately removed. However, I do like the Handyman magazine.
Every renewal I pay by CHECK now.
I have tried to cancel in writing, to no avail. I tried to cancel on line but every time I hit the button for customer service it comes back "ERROR." So I keep receiving books, which I do not open.
If they want them back, they can please send me a return label. Any bill I receive I write CANCEL in big letters (numerous times), and it is ignored.

Very frustrating. Trying to enter your contest for recycling/upcycling to win $500.
I don’t want the guide as I did not order it & I paid in July of this year $27.& change that I feel was to receive your magazine for the next 2 years. Guide wasn’t to be sent to me as wasn’t ordered.

Exactly. Two months is a row they advertised the Best of 2023.
Two different codes. Neither worked. Company tried to deny it existed. I then went to FB, messenger, and complained.
Finally got an email they will "look further into it." I couldn't find my code pages used since I had submitted them when purchased, then they tried to bill me for 3x the amount, all the while denying I every had a subscription! Provided proof, they alleged "third party and don't show it" and my response, "that is YOUR shortcoming not my time or cost to absorb as a consumer." Then they said they'd look into the special couple for 2023 and get back to me. Crickets. I JUST FOUND both of the magazine pages with the 2 different codes that don't/never worked (entrapment?) and will be sending that to the FB messenger page.
I like the magazine, company service is horrific.
I was paying a monthly fee for several years and suddenly, I was charged 2x in 2023, 4x that amount, twice. After much work, I got those refunded.
