I received an order for £49.99 and at the checkout, they offered me a 'special deal'. I ended up adding another £35 to the order, totaling nearly £85. The order was delivered by Evri and, instead of knocking at the door and delivering it to my partner, the driver just decided to leave the box behind a side gate to my garden. The package was both visible through a gap at the bottom of the gate and accessible from the outside, since you can open it from there. I have contacted customer service, and they asked me to confirm that this was my house, which I did. Here was their reply:

'Hi Luis,

Thank you for circling back.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to replace this order as we concluded that your order was left in an acceptable safe place at the time.

Therefore, you will need to contact Evri to raise a claim if you feel that your order has gone missing or if it has been stolen.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

I have spoken to Citizens Advice, and they told me that the seller is responsible, and it's up to them to deal with Evri. Stay away!!!
