Hello my name is Curtis Smith. All I want is to speak with someone about my application status.
It's been over three weeks now since I've heard anything back.
I haven't even received a email stating that I'm not a good fit or a job offer. I don't know the process it takes I'm trying to wait cause the process may be a little hectic.

Ensign puts Patient care last and profits first
As an RN with over 20 years in practice, I am appalled at how this company puts patient care last and profits first. A facility owned in Texas, with 53 patients will only have 2 Licensed Nurses and 3 Certified Nursing Aides to care for the patients on the day and evening shifts and only 1 Licensed Nurse on the night shift.
Most of the patient have advanced Dementia and or other forms of Mental Illness and require very close attention in order to prevent injury.
Yet, when Ensign purchased this facility the staff were cut to one Licensed Nurse on each shift. I quit working for this company because I will not be a party to sub-standard care and Profits over Patients.
The Ensign Group - Customer Care Review from Phoenix, Arizona
Staff overworked and underpaid. Staff shortage means bad care for patients .
Staff abuse as evidenced by staff shortage and lack of adequate supplies to cater for the patients. Premium is placed on profit over good care.
Ensign Group - McAllen, TX
I worked briefly for this company because I quickly found the Administrator and DON's true colors. These folks were rarely available at the facility to take care of major resident/family issues.
Everything that pertained to their work was passed down to other staff that was available 8-5. Administrator did not take care of problems accordingly and professionally. He would look down on the family members. He did not allow outside companies/agencies/marketers to engage with the staff and always stopped them at the front when he was in the building.
Administrator was very unethical by talking to an employee about another employee. My personal opinion was that he was a racist and DON was just lazy.
So glad to be out of there because these two people were not going to change. Months later I did hear the Administrator was relocated to another state, ha, unfortunately his character will arise somewhere else and as for the DON, well, she continues to play ghost and train up the next victim.
The Ensign Group Amenities Review from San Diego, California
The Parkside Health and Wellness Center in El Cajon California part of the "ENSIGN experience" Is not where you would want a loved one to be!!!! The facility is a slum and no one seems to care.
The floors are torn up with covebase missing and asbestos particles throughout.
There are filthy walls, rat traps INSIDE the facility, dirty pillows, broken dirty window blinds and sub standard care. The place is DESPICABLE and discusting!!!!!!

The Ensign Group - Elderly People Treatment Review
As a former employee I was lied to from day one but the old DON cared about the elderly people. With a cover up comes new people who care nothing about the facility or healthcare for that matter.A male nurse there talked very bad to the elderly and staff,The assistant DON was a flat out piece of *** and some of the female nurses who have been there for years call themselves running the facility and actually running it into the ground.
OC PC Services Daniel Danino Identity Theft Blackmail
Think of my plight as the case of "teacher vs. *** artist."
I am a mentor to urban youth, university masters student and community volunteer.
The other, however, is a man who has victims fed to him by his mother who works at the Ensign Group aka Whittier Hills Health in an elaborate identity-theft scheme with ties to a organized-crime syndicate.
The scam, Roberta Danino through her unsuspecting professional contacts sends her son Daniel Danino (OC PC Services) hails him as a computer Genius and a low cost IT alternative which gives him access to Financial and Insurance companies. Those companies have databases which victims information is forwarded to a criminal group which steal identifies to make credit cards using the victims' names and information, then they go shopping.
It kind of boggles the mind. You meet a sweet grandma looking lady and she offers her son's help who then steals your identity through your insurance agency or health care provide. It brings paranoia into society because the last person you would consider is the IT or computer repairman referred to you by a 65 year old grandma.
HOW DO I KNOW THIS?
After purchasing insurance from a company my girlfriend works in Irvine California (I am not going to list the name as she works in the office part time) my identity was stolen after having Daniel Danino work on my computer. A few weeks later I was at lunch with my friend and found a bag of credit cards inside the her car, one with my name on it was an eye-opening experience. I confronted my friend and she told me everything.
Knowing this is an extremely frightening course and later I was threatened by Daniel Danino about his families ties with organized crime and how I he would sent people to beat me if I repeated what I know.

This information also applies to the VA facility under contract with Ensign in Abilene, TX. It's all about the money, not care, and yet all of their advertisements emphasize quality patient care. There are at times one CNA for 90 patients.
