I started my coaching course 8 years ago with TCI and when I told them I would do my NLP course elsewhere (as TCI oozed misappropriation) they refused to talk to me. That was of course after they were sweet talking me into spending $15000 with them. After I refused, I didn't exist. But watching the CEO coach a vulnerable student and telling her that her problem was that she just needed a good, hard f...k, I decided it was an organization I... Read more

Interesting that TCI has now made comments re the SBS! TCI documentary google "The Coaching Institute SBS article Concerns and Clarifications" Once again SP has twisted and manipulated the truth about TCI She claims that TCI have the highest success rate of students completing their courses, compared to what other courses I've spoken to at least three people (2 x TCI staff) who have said that out of their classes of approx 30 students only 3-4... if you are going to sign up with TCI, have a seperate account that only TCI can take fees from, that way when you have paid your last months fees to them you can close down the account, Can't believe that TCI don't bother to send an email letting students know that the last last payment is due instead they continue to take the fees from your account and when you contact them the pass you from one person to another and then the challenge of... Hi I'm researching several life coaching colleges and TCI are doing the hard sell on me with multiple eblasts and phone calls daily. They are not concerned about having no ICF or national accreditation because they promote Sharon's ICG. Anyone tried to get their money back by pulling out of the institute? All this negative reviews why hasn't this gone to A Current Affairs? Read more

I wonder how many did that for a few minutes of fame or in the hopes of getting paid clients from it. Who knows maybe it its a condition of going to her live training. I regret... Read more

The coaching institute was and is a fraud- Lead by Sharon Pearson. Her course content is over priced and by large under delivered. All participants are signed up using NLP . We all paid in excess of $20 k and I feel particularly underdone in regards to the qualifications. Unfortunately my experience at TCI has put me off trusting other education facilities. Read more

SBS has completed an investigation into The Coaching Institute and it can be read here: https://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2016/07/26/disturbing-allegations-and-legal-disputes-inside-australias-1-life-coaching It is a must read if you are thinking of attending TCI. It includes many allegations onto the organisation and they include former staff members currently serving jail time for fraud. Before anyone hands over $1 to TCI make sure you... Read more

TCI is ok. Some things are cultish. Other things are really good. I would recommend paying cash for your courses and not getting hyped into debt. Also there are a lot of qualifications you could get outside of TCI which are basically what TCI teaches but with different names. The only thing is that there qualifications outside of TCI are more recognised. Overall a good experience. A good company. Some things I don't like. Know that 99%... Read more
