I was able to finally get a hold of George, (the clock doc) who said he couldn’t fix it completely. It would still stop after a day or so.

He brought the clock back and while putting it back into the grandfather clock case he somehow dislodged a chain on a gear and now won’t even allow the pendulum to swing.

Because he recently had eye surgery he wasn’t able to see well enough to put the chain back on. So the clock is back in worse condition than when it left and I am out $125.

I contracted a clocksmith, The clock Doc, in Dec 8. At the end of Jan, I rec'd a call stating he would have my grandfather clock back to me in a week. A week rolls by, nothing. I call the following week. He needs another week. 2 weeks go by, I call, no answer. I left a voice message. Next day, no answer, I left a voice message. I cannot locate him on the internet, so he must be working out of his home. But I do know someone who knows him and he does seem to know what he's doing so I believe he's legit but can't get a hold of him anymore. I just want my clock back. Plus I gave him a $125 retainer. It's an antique and has been in the family for a long time. Please help. I will attach an image of his card and the ticket he gave me. You've helped me before and it worked. Thank you.
