Went into the children's place @shopped at Hamilton in nj. Store 1907. Like I do frequently. Purchased clothes online. Was sent incorrect packing slip. I live in Michigan but it was for someone in New Mexico. Tried to exchange the clothes, they didn't fit right. I would have accepted refund/exchange at current sale price. Was told only can exchange for size exchange. No refunds or exchanges after 45 days. Terrible refund policy.

My children's father purchased two fleece tops and bottoms for our twins. They can't fit the outfits because the pants are too big in the waist. The elastic is not adjustable, but the next size down is too short. I asked him to return the items but of course since I am usually the shopper, he didn't. I made an attempt to return the merchandise with the original receipt and tags still intact. I was told that I was just out of luck.
