Company refuses to issue a refund for shoddy installation

We have been attempting to get an installation issue resolved with this company for over a year. We started with the initial sales person and have attempted to talk to customer service, supervisors, and managers on multiple occasions with no success.

We were always told that someone would call us back, but that did not happen. We then wrote a letter (no response), so we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We are seeking compensation of $270 due to the fact that a plumber had to come out multiple times because the cabinet installation was faulty and screws had been driven from the cabinet under the sink into the opening for the dishwasher. The screws were far back in the opening (not immediately obvious) and of course no one (including the plumber) would have expected long screws in the opening for the dishwasher.

When we filed the complaint with the BBB, the response was "we are not plumbers and do not offer plumbing services". That is true, but they are cabinet installers, and no competent cabinet installers would run screws into the opening for the dishwasher.

It is no wonder that this company has an F rating on the BBB website. Most of our cabinet doors are not level and have gaps, but I know that we will never get any resolution to that issue, so I'm going to focus on the shoddy installation that cost us an unnecessary $270.
