Sent badly broken furniture

This company sent us a badly broken media chest nearly one month ago. Eventhough I did what they told me to get a new media chest, I've gotten nothing and they do not return any calls or emails. I filled out their claim form and sent photos of the damaged furniture. I could not even reach an individual until I called back with a different phone. They seem to be blocking my home phone ever since I first called to say product was damaged. Do not order from them whatever you do. It looks like they've come up with a couple of umbrella names since they are so disreputable.

I placed an order and was charged on 1/14/11 and have tried emailing the bedroom space for a delivery date and have not heard a thing back from them. I have tried calling and the phone # I have does not work....

Bedroom Space...The Worst Ever

Please do not order from the BedRoom Space. They have yet to send me a refund n its been months. Every rep has lied to me w no remorse in the world. They did not have bed i ordered in stock n still have not sent out my refund since Oct 2010. I am a single mother living from paycheck to paycheck. this really hurt me. I am even so scared to order anything from online again. Me and my daughter slept on the floor until I was able to save money again to get a bed from Rooms to Go.

By any chance do you have a valid phone # for them? Every # I try I can not get through to them.

I placed an order 2 months ago and have yet to receive my merchandise or any correspondence regarding my order.

I have emailed several times and I have heard from anyone. I think it is a scam.

I felt like an *** buying a dresser on a whim from this company after reading all these bad online reviews. My first sense of trouble occurred after a week went by with no email or call reporting order status. My $918 was already out of my bank account within minutes of my online purchase. So I called, requested order status and then flatly stated that I wanted to cancel the order given that they had no idea of the status of the order. Their cancellation policy will only take effect if the the order with the manufacturer is not in progress. But wait! I thought the furniture was In Stock? That's what their web site said... So at this point if anyone wants to cancel, you are at their mercy to determine whether you will fall into the cancellation (full refund) or refund policy (restock fee). After reading several reviews here, I feel a little lucky perhaps due to my persistance and knowing each phone rep on a first name basis to catch any contradictions in the *** they may have provided me the previous day. In end, they stated that the order never made it or was processed by the manufacturer and that I would receive a full refund within 3 business days. In reality it took a month from the date of cancellation due to lack of ownership from the initial rep that took my cancellation request and then due to a long propagation period with their accounting person.

:( this company is horrible its been several months and still no refund on product that was not in stock. these ppl need to be arrested for their scam.

I am sorry for your experience. I had the very same experience with another company after buying a desk that cost me over $1,000.00.

I was told that my card would not be charged until the item was shipped. Seven days went by (after they charged my account) and still no desk. I found out that the item would not be available until after September! I said I wanted a refund and they said it would take a few weeks for the amount to be credited to my account..bottom line??

I called my bank to place a claim.

I got my refund that night! Good luck!

The Bedroom Space

Avoid this company at all costs. They take your money and deliver damaged goods. Then it becomes your problem. I have been working with them for months without a resolution. No calls are returned. They are always "looking into the problem" but never resolve it. At the end of the day you receive an email that says "Tough luck." I now have furniture that I cannot use and don't know what to do with it. I wish I had looked at the comments on the internet (and there are plenty of them) before I ordered from the Bedroom Space. Time to get the Attorney General involved.

Deceitful Company

Do not order from this store! I ordered a nightstand over one month ago and I still haven't received it. They refuse to refund my order since they have it in "shipped" status. The problem is they have only initiated a FedEx slip but it was never scheduled for shipping. Customer service has been awful. I have been hung up on twice, was told once that they would call me back so I didn't have to sit on hold and never received a return call. I was also told that I would receive a new tracking number within the same day and of course that never happened. I no longer trust a thing they tell me and and going to have to contest the charges on my credit card since they charged me before the product even shipped. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Damaged Goods

Recently I purchased a nightstand from Klaussner and received one with worm holes located right on the top of the table, worse yet, it was on both ends decoratively mirroring each other. I first called and emailed the distributor to see if this was normal and if I can return it without any success. At first the distributor, The Bedroom Space, sent images of other tables saying it was normal to have the *** but the images they sent over looked nothing like what I've received. So I sent some images back comparing the two products. After months of going back and forth with the distributor, they basically said that they didn't see any differences between the product images. They gave me the option to ship it back to them but with me paying for the shipping along with a 15% restocking cost. After a while, I soon learned that the Bedroom Space was working with Klaussner who were the ones not willing to take the product back. I wish I could post the images so everyone could see how ridiculous these holes are. Now I'm stuck with this table which will always be needing a cloth over it. Wow, what I got for my money!!

I have had the exact same problem. I started trying to order a bed from these fools back in October 2010.

Originally the first bed I ordered was on back order until February so they gave me a 10% discount on another bed. In November they took the money out of my account. Its now March 2011 and I am out almost 2 grand and I still dont have a bed. Furthermore they no longer have a working number and refuse to respond to messages and emails.

I am looking to take legal action. DO NOT BUY FROM THEBEDROOMSPACE.COM!!!!!

This company sucks. Ordered furniture back in mid-December.

They don't maintain online order status,won't answer their phone or respond to online customer service requests. WTF?!?!? When is it supposed to ship? After 2 months I cancelled the least I HOPE it was cancelled..

they won't confirm my online request to cancel and I can't reach anyone by phone to confirm it has been done! Thank God my credit card company suspended the payment. I also filed a complaint with the BBB.

Don't buy from these sleazebags. This is a shady operation.


I am stuck with a bed that looks like ***. The Bedroom Space will not answer their phone.

They won't ship me a new bed.

They won't take this bed back. They had been paid but won't hold up their end of the bargain.


I am equally enraged. Now that they have my money I can't get anyone to call me back about my problem.

I have l/2 a bed that I cannot use because they won't ship the remaining parts.

I can't return it either because it costs too much. What can I do?

I too have had a similar experience $5,000 later and still no furniture. Have been told it already shipped so I called the delivery company and they had no information on file for our delivery. Still waiting for furniture.

Really bad online shopping experience. The order placement went fine (2 table lamps) and the delivery was within 2 weeks. The products themselves were very nice, but the hassle started when I needed to return the items! As a frequent online shopper, I always read return policies before a purchase. The Bedroom Space claims to have a "hassle free" return policy and "is proud to offer one of the best return policies on the internet." The also claim to offer "award winning customer service" and that "YOU the customer will always be treated with the utmost care and respect." These claims couldn't be further from the truth, based on my experience.

After my purchase, I never received any shipping or tracking information. Since I had the lamps delivered to a client (I'm a designer) I had to follow up with the client to see if they'd been shipped. Not a big deal at all. But when the return process started (and it WAS/IS a process) not having the tracking information became a problem.

The Bedroom Space has a 15 day return policy from receipt of item. Fair enough. After sending three emails and leaving a voice message regarding my desire to return the items, I hear nothing. I called back again this week and finally got ahold of someone. (My first email was March 26; my last phone call was April 6.) When I did get in touch with someone regarding returns I was sent a pretty snarky couple of emails telling me that she didn't have the tracking information...that the item shipped on March 3...that I was well outside the 15 day return policy...and that if I could prove I was within the 15 day window she could process my return. Huh?

I didn't have any tracking information, so how would I prove anything? I did have my emails though, so I had proof of my first contact with them.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I finally got the tracking info and they agreed to a return. It was only THEN that I was told I would have to pay a restocking fee. Now I know some online retailers charge a restocking fee but NO WHERE on The Bedroom Space's website does it mention a restocking fee. Only shipping and handling. When I pointed this out to customer service, they didn't budge and got snarky with me again. I was told by the customer service rep that he had gone "above and beyond" in assisting me. Huh. Really? I thought that was his job.

Anyway, it's been a pain. I'm returning the lamps. They cost about $250 and I will be spending $80 or so on shipping and "restocking" fees. I originally purchased through this store because, after doing some comparison shopping, they had the best price. Let me tell you - it's NOT WORTH IT! Spend a few more bucks and do your shopping elsewhere.


Well, at least you got some sort of product delivered. They won't return my emails or calls to tell me when I WILL GET MY PRODUCTS.

It has been 2 months instead of the promised 2-3 weeks. Horrible service.

Deceitful company!! I am going to dispute it with my credit card company.
