The Auto Livery, Fairfield Ohio is selling bad cars that look shiny. They rip-off deposits.
Steve and Jason Burkhart, a father and son team who own the AUTO LIVERY of FAIRFIELD, OHIO dress up bad cars to look shiny. They sell using false information and then rip customers off by taking down-payments and refusing to return them once an inspection uncovers their fraud.
Once caught, both men become abusive. Calls go unanswered, emails are not replied to. It's a classic second hand car dealer sham. The AUTO LIVERY of FAIRFIELD, OHIO. Watch out!
In my case they listed on eBay a 'clean, always garaged, perfect' Merceded 560 SL for $22,995 (VIN#WDBBA48D7JA081819). They took a $1,000 down-payment, even knowing I was sending a mechanic from California to inspect the car. My guy took extensive photos showing bad rust, seat foam decomposition, and sand and other gunk in the engine and trunk. It was clear the car had flood damage. When called on it, the Burkharts claimed ignorance, but still refused to return a deposit. I am contacting the Ohio AG, eBay and the BBB to warn as many people as I can about this dealership. They have behaved dishonestly with me and I they will do the same with you. Watch out! The AUTO LIVERY of FAIRFIELD, OHIO - synonymous with BAD BUSINESS.

I recently purchased a f250 there..within 35 days huge rust spots were coming through the paint..would never recommend..
I, too, was 'conned' by them. I purchased a Porsche from them that was advertised as 'in pristine condition.' I test drove it around the block and everything seemed fine.
But, as soon as I got it to Cincinnati, the check engine light came on. Apparently, the cooling system was bad - it was 'rigged' enough for the test drive.
I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! I also filed a coomplaint with the better business bureau.
:grin I am very impressed with this dealership!! Family owened and ran and everyone there including the owners are very freindly and a pleasure to work with.
I have dealt with them for years and not one single complaint.
I have also reffered many friends and family to them that have dealt with them for years and still not one complaint. I highly reccomend you check out their inventory!!
