Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement. The owner said he would get us a new cushion delivered as he originally said.However, I would not recommend buying Smith Brothers furniture anywhere, without knowing the rub factor or cleaning method! I should have done a deeper dive on Smith Brothers.

On June 5, 2025 The Amish Craftsman store delivered a sofa we Custom ordered through them from Smith Brothers furniture. When received my husband noticed the corner on the long cushion was severely deformed and wrote it on the delivery order that he was not satisfied with the product.
We contacted the store the very next day and let them also know.

After several attempts to solve this issue, plus going to the actual store to look at the product there, we took them all three cushion the next week. They were able to correct two of the cushions that also improperly done. However last week, August 19, I went by the store to to pick up the two cushions and find out about the worst one. Steve one of the owners informed me that an upholstery company locally they use could not repair the long sofa cushion, that it was in deed made incorrectly and he could not fix it.

Steve then told me Smith Brothers was going to send a new cushion. However, he wanted to CALL Smith Brothers to make sure they were sending the whole cushion and not just sending the cover and expecting them at The Amish Craftsman store to take out the old cushion and put it in the new cover.
I had not heard from the owner Steve as he had promised, so today I emailed asking the status of getting our new cushion so we would have a completed sofa that was delivered over 2,1/2 months ago. He proceeded to tell me that now they were sending the cushion to the store and having them repair it. Which will take longer, so now it is going on three months without the sofa that we paid $4000- for!
Mind you we also bought a dining room table from them at the same time and we are repeat clients.

I am so nauseated by the treatment they have given us. I just want to return the sofa and I have asked to do so and even willing to take a $500 hit for returning it.

Waiting to hear from them now. If they agree to let us do that I will add to this comment.
