Textbooks.com always impresses me
I am a college student and and frequently buy school books through them. They always arrive within just a few days.
I can trust the quality will be great. Their prices are unbelievably low. I browse and purchase other books of interest for those very same reasons. I definitely recommend this company to everyone.
I have to add a few more words for this to submit...so...
well, though a lot of schools are going e-book now (unfortunately), there are still many of us who enjoy using and having the actual book. I hope that school's switching to e-books will not run a company...especially this company out of business.
Textbooks.com confusion
I sent in textbooks to textbooks.com to sell. I had to separate transactions, therefore two different boxes with package lists.
I received two emails last night, one for each box, confirming they had received my items. Everything was right for the first box of books I sold back. For the second box of books I returned it stated that it didn't receive one book that I had sent in (quoted for a $4 buyback price) and it said that they received two copies of another book, yet I only sent in one of those books. The box was securely taped by both regular Scotch tape and heavy-duty shipping tape which I witnessed the UPS delivery man tape up.
Both boxes were taped by the same man, and I witnessed both being taped, and were both shipped from the same place at the same time so I don't see why there was a problem with one box and not the other. I also don't understand how they would have received two copies of one of my books when I only sent in one copy of that book.
Not sure if this is a mix up or what but I will be calling the company to straighten it out.
