Parking

AI Highlights
  • - I drove from out of town to the Texas SOS.
  • - No parking signs; clerk says parking is in the building behind.
  • - A boot on the wheel and a $100 fee.

I drove from out of town to get to the Texas Secretary of State. When I found the correct address, I looked for a place to park.

I only saw parking spaces next door at 7-Eleven. There were no signs letting you know where there was parking for the Texas Secretary of State. So I hurried to the Texas Secretary office next door and asked where I could park. The clerk told me that there was a place to park in the building behind them.

I hurried back to my car to go park in the building in the back. There was a boot on my wheel. The man said I had to pay $100 to be able to move my car.

I told him that they were robbers and thieves because I had left my car for less than 4 minutes to find out where I could park. The city should do better than allowing robbers and thieves to steal money from people trying to get to the Texas Secretary of State office.

Loss:
$100
Pros:
  • Friendly staff
Cons:
  • No parking signage

Worst design and most limited functionality of any website ever

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Login requires a credit card with expiration date and code.
  • - Searching costs $1, and re-login is needed for the Business Organization menu.

In order to login, a credit card w/ expiration and code MUST be entered. Every single login.

When on a page and the user has to navigate back to the "Business Organization" menu, the user must login again! To simply look up an entity name, the user is charged $1. It's ONLY though searches where filing functionality be found.

If you don't find what you need and have to search again, another $1. Just the worst website of all time.

User's recommendation: Call the Texas SoS office and complain.

I need help with my LLC application as soon as possible

I just applied for an LLC last night, but I need to update the application. Is it too late to update the application to put a virtual business address before the application is processed?

Demand a human to speak to. My care was good.

Also work on hold time. But I'll remain on hold as long as I can speak with a human being.

Referred by TX A.G. office to SOS, but they try to route everything through the 5555 number, which is NOT a main number, NOT a switchboard. Tried calling other departments, all unhelpful, all claiming there is no main number beyond the 5555.

Complaint regarding Texas Secretary of State

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Complaint about delays in LLC termination processing by Texas SOS and Comptroller; notes data capture errors and possible hacking.

Date: 8/12/2019

Subject: Complaint regarding Texas Secretary of State,

This complaint related to one of a series of strange occurences and events at stores and government

services over the past few years.

The Specific Incident:

This complaint relates to the way your Texas Secretary of state and Comptroller processes LLC

termination documents. Last year I sought to close the Limited Liability Company TA Technologies

LLC.

I began to file documents to close the LLC in August 2018.

It took several trials to complete the

documents. This sttreched the business close process from August 2018 to early 2019. This delay

seems out of characteristic from my other dealings with your offices: secretary of state and comptroller.

It seems unreasonable that it should take so long to file those document. I suspect some sort of defect

in your process or ulterior motive.

I observed that data was captured wongly (possibly hacked) and also

I do not believe it should take 3 attempts to close the Business TA Technologies LLC. This delay is out

of norm for most of my dealing with the organization and document filings of this type.

I informed the organzation of the defect in your organization’s process.

The effect of this defect in your organization was to the business close from late summer until the

beginning of the next year. This is the impact of your organization’s behavior..

Other Potentially Related Incidents

Apparently there has been some sort of coordinated prank by store and government employees around

Austin. These strange event occurred over the past few years.

These out of normal behaviors were

coordinated across stores and locations.

These events are possibly direct by internet portal and coordinated by the internet. They probably

relate to hacked computer systems and were coordintated by business employees. I cannot with

certainty determine what drove these events. I did not request these pranks or cause this strange

behavior.

Through email and letters I sought a response from these organization, most of which did not respond.

Most are unresolved.

These events were staged and out of my control. These staged events caused

some difficulty and lower quailty service.

Joe Wendland
