the terrace is one of the most shadiest companies in America I I have been trying to get my house fixed due to major roof leaking. And they made me and my spouse sign a check over to them they can endorse it and cash it now they tell me it takes 5 days for them to process my check and then two more days to make sure a check is cut for us in the beginning they told me that it takes 48 hours. I wish someone would start a lawsuit against them for improper information and malice people so much more.everytime I talk to them I am hearing different information I've decided to keep a booklet with all the information that people have told me not once did I ever get a clear concise information from two different people its always different information. now my wrist is being repaired and I can't pay the roofer until their policy and procedures are completed.

In my years of experience and working with Terrace Mortgage, this couldn't be further from the truth. The "shady" lenders went out of business.
So, of course they made you give them the check - they are probably the mortgagee on the mortgagee clause located on your homeowners insurance. You need to talk to your insurance agent and keep up with the mortgagee.
You will never get a check cut to you because you don't own the home! The bank does!
