Unprofessional and thieving. The worst experience.

BEWARE!!! Terra Firma Landscape has proven itself to be a LESS THAN HONEST ORGANIZATION. I should have known better when I had someone within the industry warn me about them, but they fooled me anyway and I'll explain how they did it. First and foremost, the designer was and is very friendly and talented; she should seriously consider working for a more respectful company. The snake of the organization would be the project manager who was quite friendly at the beginning which he later used to try and jack up the price of the project. They lure you in by claiming that your design fee will be credited back if you enter into a Construction Contract within 90-days. Here's the trap, once you come to a "preliminary" budget and feel good about the proposal you then hand them a deposit check for $5,000 - BIG MISTAKE! They deposit your check then turn right around and increase the cost of the proposal stating they "inadvertently" missed some items. I pursued Small Claims Court to retrieve my $5,000 but lost due to technicalities, so goodbye getting the rest of my yard done. THE WORST BUSINESS TRANSACTION I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
