Terminal Storage of Jacksonville, NC sucks!!

After looking up numerous reviews of this company before conducting a government move, I told DMO I did not want this company. They told me too bad and I got stuck with them. They broke soo much stuff that it's mind blowing. Daughter's crib, fishing poles, curtain rods, dresser, end tables, picture frames, etc....DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY MOVE YOU. Tell DMO TO SHOVE IT. I have filed a claim over a week ago and still have not heard anything from them. Before u go to the mandatory DMO class make sure you already have a moving company in mind that you want. You are allowed to pick your own company. They told me that the excuse of them having bad reviews is not good enough. I hope this helps save someone else from this pain. After serving almost 11 years in you would think they would treat you a little better.

Terminal Stg dispatcher was previously an update girl for dispatch at Stevens World Wide Moving . Prior to working there she was a wedding planner.

Is that how you train a dispatcher , I ask ? Clearly unqualified as a dispatcher.

The general manager worked as a local mover with no training in management . Looking at his knowledge of what goes on under his nose in the office and not to mention the quality of workmanship his local crew provides is testimony of his inexperience.

He seems to be more concerned on how to keep overhead costs down to ensure a larger bonus for himself . That explains the crappie condition of all of their local equipment. God help them if they ever get stopped by DOT in a road side inspection or at a DOT scale .

Now the local help . What a group of misfits.

They provide NO training for them on how to handle the publics belongings when they perform a move . You can look at the local crew and ask yourself , do I really want these people in my home ? Not a one of them own a uniform and if they do they must wear them elsewhere , not at work . The local crew that help drivers perform a long distance move work by the hundred weight.

i.e. 10,000 lbs = $100.00 pay to them . Since they charge by the hundred wt. Their theory is , faster is better as they are not working by the hour.

They do work fast but with no regaurd for the customers belongings . Hey , if an item gets damaged or broken , the driver is responsable for the claim not the help. Let's get it done and GIVE ME MY MONEY ! I have heard many stories of items that turned up missing , from drawers , purses, and even household items .

I really don't understand how they stay qualified with the base to perform DOD moves. Service men ( the Marines ) and their families stationed at that base deserve much better service than what Terminal Stg Company provide . The Marines put their lives at risk to keep us free .

How can any one service provider treat them with such disregard ? It sickens me to know this is how they treat these brave men and their families who sacrifice so much in order to keep this nation safe and free.

And the long haul dispatcher looks like a pregnant GORILL

Gary is dead thats what i said !
