- They won't install non-profit internet due to WK&T monopoly, and they didn't respond about upgrade info or pole diagrams.
They allow non-profit internet service but yet do not let me have it due to a monopoly agreement with West Ky. Tn Internet saying it is not profitable to install it to my home on top of that hand shaking agreement not to cross over the existing fiber belonging to wk and t internet. They did not respond to my question on where to find upgrade information on the internet regarding setting of a utillity pole and its panels and diagram specifications for my particular county.
- Fix their problems
- Hard to get correct information
Preferred solution: I would like to have a full diagram for the utility meter pole set up for a residential property that is updated with modern rules for overhead, underground, and direct hookup to an RV or mobile home.
User's recommendation: I would recommend to follow the law on monopoly which is not allowed in many states for internet access. i would advise that they update existing diagrams on their site to show exact specifications needed to install service meter poles. I would recommend that they allow the more modern meter boxes and breaker panels boxes that are combined into one box and find a way to offer a cheaper way to have a protected circuit for ground.
