Rude treatment by the owner

Rude doesn't quite cover it. Hired them to fabricate and install two glass shower doors in my daughter's loft. One of them has pulled completely out of the wall because they installed it into sheet rock without anchoring it properly. I went back to visit them in the store to discuss solutions to the problem and the owner of the business told me he tried to warn me that they would require a wood frame to secure the doors into with screws. I told him he never had that conversation with me when I bought and paid him for the job from him. He said he knew he did. I guess that means I'm a liar, but when they came out and inspected the job before install, why wouldn't they identify that as an issue and take corrective measures at that time? You know, before taking my money? Wouldn't you think they'd check a pretty significant thing like that first? But he assured me it was ENTIRELY my fault because he told me they would HAVE to screw into wood, not sheet rock. Even though they screwed into sheet rock anyway and didn't worry about that wood thing after they got my money. I asked him what we need to do to fix the problem and all he said was you need someone to come install a wood frame and then we'll put the door back up for you, AT A COST, of course! Then he turned his back on me in the middle of trying to figure out a remedy, walked out the door, got in his truck and drove off leaving me standing there. I'm a businessman, and a very successful one. I can't IMAGINE treating a customer the way I was treated today. Does he not realize there are other glass companies out there? My advice is go to one of them. This guy will not stand behind his product or service. Tennessee Glass... soon to be out of business!
