Tenet Healthcare

The check expired and I would like it to be reissued. The Check was made out to:

Rose Fernandez in the amount of 990.00.

The Check number is 00489****. It was issued 08.12.22.

I received a letter saying I was getting a refund check but never received it I have called numerous times and keep getting the run around.

Cannot get through to Tenet health so called Ethics # got someone right away but it was not his dept. but did give me Tenets fax # which I will follow up .

needed therapy for my hand went to therapy office day before to fill out form and register my insurance. next day after therapy i went to pay the copay...they wouldn't take it, said i dont have a copay. i asked if they were sure they check the computer and the lady who does the filing come up front she checked again and said she ran it twice and i dont have a copay. i figured it was because i hit my out of pocket max with the surgery leading up to the therapy.

i checked about copays before every visit and got the same reply... 13 visit later i get a bill from tenet for the first 5 visits from last month. doing some quick math i fiqure out what my whole bill was going to be...almost $800!!!...

took the bill to the office, she said sorry but based on the info we were given you dont show you having a copay. the took it to their parent co the hospital across the street... after getting sent all over the hospital i sat down with "the hospital cashier" we talked about the whole situation she check the computer told me same thing...dont show me having a copay not their fault my insurance told them wrong.

went back to therapy office and had her print me what she got from my insurance, took that to my local insurace broker who pointed out that in fact i did have copays and in was clearly marked on both print out..they didnt make the mistake the hospital did.

so i'm back at the hospital with the cashier and i pointing out the fact that tenet in fact made the mistake and what can we do about it...pass the buck is what happened, noting she could do.

it like handing out free hot dogs, so you eat 13 and then when you have finished eating they hand you a bill...i wouldn't have eaten 13 if i knew they were not free i might have only eaten 4 or 5. still battling them over this. issue still not settled
