They blew the ECM in my RV engine

Update by user Aug 14, 2020

Now they are stalling, asking me to bring in a new battery. Trying to blame it on my battery, which has nothing to do with it.

I have had incompetent and very bad service after leaving my motorhome for repair at Temecula Valley RV. They blew my engine Electronic Control Module, and are trying to blame me for it. However, my engine or chassis was working PERFECTLY when I took it in, and I told them they broke it and they have to repair it. Please note, I AM A WOMAN. I suspect they would not treat a man the way they have treated me. I took my motorhome, which only has 21000 miles on it, in for repairs to Temecula Valley RV on June 9th, 2020. On this day, August 14th, 2020, they still have my RV. They repaired what we agreed on, which were components of the "house" part of the motorhome. The engine (or chassis) part of the motorhome was running perfectly, save a small battery drain, (which, by the way, I had kept in check for 4 months with a trickle charger), when I dropped it off on June 9th. After Temecula Valley RV did the "house" repairs on my RV, they told me there was a fuse burning out, so I said they could look into it. The next call Temecula Valley RV informed me electronic control module in the engine of my motorhome had blown and was not working. This means the RV is not "driveable". Temecula Valley RV broke the electronic control module in the engine. The engine or chassis component of my motorhome was working perfectly when I originally took it in on June 9th, 2020, and I only authorized them to work on other parts of the motorhome, and not the engine. I did authorize them to look at a battery drainage, but that should not have blown the ECM. They are trying to blame this on me, and charge me another $1,000.00, including labor, to fix it. I told them they broke it, and they need to fix it at their expense and give me back my motorhome, which they've had for 2 months now. I am sure I would not be getting this treatment if I was a man.

User's recommendation: If you want your female family member or future female family member to be treated equally, and/or you are looking for a fair, competent, and respectful place to get your RV repaired, or you are looking to buy or rent an RV, DO NOT go to Temecula Valley RV. Especially if you are a woman. They will rip you off.
