Horrible. Just horrible
We took our tv in at the beginning of September. Not only did I call every week for an update, I was usually told that they would call me back; which of course they did not.
After over three months of no tv, they finally declared it unfixable and I was able to get a refund from the manufacturer. Avoid this place unless you have incredible patience and have a twisted urge to be disappointed.
On a positive note, The employees there did seem polite, but a repair business must be able to deliver service in a timely fashion, while keeping customer focused.
TV repair (Telesystems Electronics Inc. Everett) damaged my set
They picked up my set, took it to the shop, witnessed it making the popping sound it was making in my living room called me and left a message on my phone "stating for the record it made a pop sound". Then they returned it to me saying it was fixed.
It was not, the set continued to pop, the mfg (under mfg warr) sent them back out to my place to pick up the set. They took it back, would not return my call after a week, finally I contacted the owner who assured me service, stated the set was functioning normally. Said they would evaluate another week, they had the set for 3 weeks because they could not return it beause they were busy then the truck broke down, stated on the receipt when they did return it that it "never made a popping sound". (see above) So they conflicted themselves.
On top of this they damaged the screen with a 3/8" slash and denied it flat out. The owner stated in a recording on my message machine that EVERY technician saw the damage before they picked it up. Gee really, never noted it on the pick-up receipt though. Odd huh?
Or mentioned it me until I discovered it.
I trusted them, It never occured to meticulously look over the set, besides they turned it on immediately and it's hard to see the damage initially until the set it off.

This company is awful! I really wish that my mom had done her research before she gave them TWO tv's! The owner of the business came out to my mom's house to give her an estimate to repair her flat screen tv and to fix an additional tv. The owner came out,had her sign this ridiculous contract and demanded payment up front ($600+). She didn't feel comfortable, so he agreed to take a partial payment ($400). To make things even shadier, he had her make the payment out to him personally rather than the company. Right after he left, she had a bad feeling. She called him with ten minutes of leaving and told him to cancel the order that she would pay the $65 service call, but she DID NOT want him to do the repairs. He told her she would have to pay for 1/2 the repairs AND the service call. First thing the next morning, she called her bank and cancelled her check, he showed up at her bank 20 minutes after opening to cash the check for the order that he KNEW was cancelled.
He then became very beligerant and rude and threatening.
She has tried to get her tv's back, but he refuses to return them and insists on charging her for half the labor.
These guys are CROOKS! We have written a complaint to the Atty General and we encourage anyone who has had negative dealings with them to do the same. Also... if they had you make the payment out to the owner personally, please contact Washington State Department of Revenue and let them know. As a corporation, it is not legal for the prinicple business owner to accept or ask for checks to be made directly to them. These guys need to be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!!
This place is a nightmare, all these stories about them wanting money upfront, promising quick repairs, is all true. I dropped my set off, was told it would done in 5 business days, which dragged out to 3 months before I went down and picked my broken set up and demanded my money.
But the owner, Edwin "*** man" Herrera was out of the country apparently and his workers couldnt authorize a refund without him, even though he was communicating with them over the phone. I really didnt want to make it that big of a deal but still its almost $600 we are talkin about. Anyway I was promised I would be refunded my money when the " accountant" was in at the end of the next month. They said I had just missed the accountant by a few days.
Supposedly the accountant only came in of the 23rd of each month and I picked the set up on the 29th. Anyway I waited until the date they told me and on that day Edwin called me and said that they had went ahead and refunded the money to my card. Well that never happened. He then told me to give him a week and he will pay me.
I do that and still nothing. So by this point im bugging him everyday and he finally just said " I dont have the money and im not sure when I will. You need to stop calling me and let me work, when I have the money i'll call you. If you keep calling your just going to have to sue me and it will take even longer to get your money." So I listened to him, I filed a small claims case in may and we have court June 30th.
So now he can pay my refund, filing fees, serving fees, and im charging him 5% intrest on the original debt owed, and I threw on a extra $10 for gas I gotta get to come up to everett. This company is ***.
I even contacted KING 5 to get the reporter Jesse Jones on them but they told me that they had done a story on them already. I think they should run it again.

Do not do buisness with them. They have had my TV and my money for 6 months. Even Mitsubishi who recommended them can't get them to do anything.
STAY AWAY.
This company is a scam. Big promises...no delivery or service. Nice owner, but they cannot service or fix a simple problem. They want all money upfront, commit to one week repair time, 3 months later, still no tv. So I have written off my TV and the payment and bought a new unit. They give the same excuse each time i call like reading from a script: "we are still troubleshooting or we will call you tomorrow or we are waiting for a part"
Do yourself a favor, if you tv is broke, pay $15 bucks and take it to the dump and go to best buy and get a new one. If you go to Telesystems all you get a bill and excuses, but no service or repaired unit.

This place should be put out of business, they had my set for 4 months, 4 months!!! I finally went and bought a new set, I called a lawyer, paid him a grand to file a suit against them, then they wimpered and whined and begged me to drop the suit and offered to return my set, I said only if you pay my lawyer a grand, they agreed, they knew I could shut them down if I wanted to spend the time and money.
They aren't worth it, besides how could they ever stay in business like this? The way they treat people?
took them 3 days to make an appointment. kept saying they would call me back about my TV which is still under warranty. I had to call each day in which they said someone would contact me later that day to make an appointment. on the 3rd day they finally set up an appointment and then today... I am supposed to have an appointment from 4-6pm sometime in that time frame and no one shows up. its 7:30pm now. still no one. still no call.
I left them a nice voicemail and plan to give them an ear full tomorrow, but seriously... FIND SOMEONE BETTER.
their website clearly states "we offer same day service" which is obviously not the case. you'd be lucky to get same YEAR service. by the time someone comes my *** tv will probably be out of warranty.
I don't know if they are liars, or just plain ***. I do know that they seem to have an extensive amount of experience at BSing customers and making sure they stay out of their hair. I sent my Sony LCD to their shop back in May of this year. After about 2 MONTHS they said that they had finally replaced the board and it was ready...of course because they were so buisy I had to pick it up.
First day i bring it home it has the same exact issues, only its even worse. So back to the shop. After about 2 other mis-diagnosis they say the finally have the problem fixed and it should be ready in a week.
6 months later I still don't have my TV...
I don't care who you are, or how good you think this company is or isn't....6 months is a rediculous amount of time to waste on TV repair and there is NO EXCUSE period for this.
Horrible place, they should reivaluate how they run their buisness or quit period.
I live in Lake Stevens and I had my Sony projection TV fixed through this company about four months ago. The repair cost me a little over four hundred bucks.
Pretty high but meh. Telesystems took about a week and a half to fix it. They kept me relatively informed and were fairly decent on being on time. I was pleased with the service they provided.
I honestly don't think that they are as bad as they folks below me are making it out to be. Sure they're not perfect but I've seen companies act far worse. Till this day my TV is still working great. I'd recommend them sure.
But be open minded because from what I've read around the net, the TV repair industry is taking a big hit due to shady parts from factories and sort stock of parts.
So cut these guys some slack. Seesh
i loved this company and the way the handled the problem on my tv. they were on time and did as they told me....a little spendy but it was worth it........i recommend this company to anyone who has any problems with your tv.
This company is a joke!!!! I have spent over 700 dollars with this company on repairing my DLP. It started out as a bulb supposedly. Which I purchased and installed to find out it wasn't the problem.
No big deal, come get the T.V. and diagnose the problem and let's get it fixed. Right? WRONG!!!!! They have had my T.V. for over 3 weeks and still counting!!! Every problem that was stated in the complaints above by the other unfortunate customers who were misled and lied to..... I came across as well!!! This is the worst company I have ever spent money with in my life!!! I think they should quit!! Save us (The unfortunate customers) the time and money we will be wasting on you, just to find out your T.V. repair skills are a joke!! Matter O' fact, they SUCK completely!!! There is nothing good that I could possibly say about this company or it's employees for that matter "except" they are absolutely the "BEST" liars in the history of "SO Called T.V. Repair" I believe they should just give it up Maybe even take up "Pan-handling" so they can go to school and get educated!! In all actuality they should be working for free!! LOL!!! If you deal with this company, I believe it says something about yourself...

All in all I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody I've ever met in my life!! Even the ones I don't like too much!!! LOL!! This company is Garbage!! So if you feel like throwing money away, I would be more than happy to leave my number so you can throw it my way!! Lol!!!
i had a problem with the exact some company here in everett, wa. our rear projection tv was off on the picture and had shadowing problems so they came out and were supposed to be here on tuesday june 3rd between the hours of 2-4p.m and of course the technician didn't end up calling until 3:45pm to tell me that he was just now on his way and didn't get to my house until 4:20 pm.
he was here for 30 mins looking at the tv took the parts he needed and left. they said the repairs and labor would cost around $500 total for both parts and labor and said the tv would be ready to go by friday or saturday of the same week. so on saturday we get a call telling us that they are going to drop off the tv within a two hour time frame that my parents set up with them and during that time they called and said that two of their trucks had broken down and that they would have to reschedule for monday which my mother agreed to between the hours of 3-5pm. monday comes and i am waiting at my house between 3-5pm and get a phone call around 4:45pm telling me that they never got an ok to drop off the tv today and they needed to reschedule for tuesday.
the guy told me he tried leaving a message on my cell phone and home phone on the previous saturday. So i was upset about the fact that i had to waste more time waiting for the tv company to show up but hey what are you gonna do? so on tuesday they are supposed to be here between 10am-12pm and i wait for them the entire time and don't end up getting a phone call until 12:45pm telling me that the technician is just now on his way from everett, which i live in edmonds, and he didn't end up getting here until 1:20pm, go figure. the technician was here for maybe 15mins before having the tv together and him leaving.
the thing that frustrates me so much about this company is the lack of customer service... in fact there wasn't any customer service. on three separate times i was waiting for 2 and a half hours of more, and didn't get a phone call until after they were supposed to be here. another thing is that on monday when they were supposed to show up, the cust.
service rep told me that on saturday he called a left a message on my cell and home phones which is a complete lie because i didn't get a message or voicemail on either or even a missed call from any non-family/non-friend numbers. he went on to say that he left a message on my voicemail that was a computerized voicemail which i don't have. i have a personal voice message on my phone and when i heard this i knew he was lying about the entire thing. like mike, the company also told me they had van problems but still didn't call me to inform me, the manager of the store hung up the phone on me when i made a complaint and the so called cust.
service rep would talk over me while i was trying to talk. they said they had 4 hours of work into our tv which might be true if they didn't order all new parts which they did. 4 hours of work at $71.25 an hour comes out to $285, but what about the time i spent here waiting for them to show up maybe? i spent well over 6 hours waiting for them to show when i could be doing other things such as work!
because the company wants someone to be there when they show up, i had to miss work and my parents had to leave work early. in all, i'm not happy with this company at all and wouldn't recommend them to anyone because of the extremely high pricing, wait times, lack of communication and customer service, and pretty much them just wanting your money! so i hope you will all read this and not go to TELESYSTEMS ELECTRONICS in everett, wa. because they operate their business horribly and most importantly they wanted to offer me for my grievance with them a surge protector that they claim to be worth $45 when i see similar ones at best buy or circuit city for $9.95 lol, everything this company has told me has been false.
i'm sure that they didn't spend 4 hours working on my tv or have problems with their vans or anything considering when i looked at one it looked pretty much brand new. so do not give your money to TELESYSTEMS ELECTRONICS because that is all they want from you, if you have any question give me an email MUSTANG68FBK@***.COM Thanks - Blair
