Failed with their "Limited Lifetime" warranty
- - I have about 8 Tekonsha P2 controllers and one failed.
- - Replacement promised, but a year passed with many calls; I’ll switch to Redarc.
I loved the P2 Tekonsha controller and I have about 8 of them. Everything was great until one developed a fault.
After contacting the Tech line, they agreed that it was defective and would send me a replacement. I have waited more than 1 year and made at least 6 calls to their tech lines. After waiting up to 1-1/2 hours on the phone each time, they said "They are back ordered"... duh, you go on Amazon and they are in stock.
I will be taking all of the controllers out of our trucks and replacing them with a Redarc controller.
My 30 year relationship with Tekonsha is done.
If you need to rely on the "Lifetime" warranty, buy something else. I wasted more than the cost of the controller in my time trying to work with them.

Question about wire harness
- - Tried to find the batch number for wire harness 118791; if batch F-264, it won't work in my VW Jetta.

I was trying to find out what the Batch number is on wire harness part number 118791. If its F -264 then it wont work with my VW Jetta.
When I called I got a message that my wait time was approximately 54 minutes and that I should press 0 to leave a message.
But when I press 0 it went to a busy signal. I tried calling 3 or 4 times.
